Tragic 😢story for this cutie. 🐕 want a new dog??

I am trying to help a friend. I cannot take him as we go to Mexico for the wedding in Nov and will be gone for 2 weeks. I couldn’t traumatized him again.
This is what I know:

I have a 9 year border collie 🐶 who's master died. He had been left alone for two weeks in his masters condo . He was fed and walked but never had a chance to say goodbye and is very confused and very sad.
Wondering if there is someone who might be interested in taking him home .
My landlady will be taking him to Laps tomorrow and I know from listening to him cry tonight that it won't go well 😭

He was alone for 6 weeks in the townhouse when his master passed with someone coming daily to feed and let him out who also was dying of cancer who now is in hospice.
Just a horrific story we are not going to take him to laps 😃he is already traumatized by his owner disappearing we are trying to find this 9 year old a forever home.

Home Needed (approved)Sadly our family situation has changed, and we need to rehome our dog Teddy. It has been a very difficult decision.

Teddy needs someone who has time, is interested in him, and is either home a lot, or has a yard for him to roam in.

General Info
Teddy is a Purebred 4 year old Mini Aussie Shepherd, he has had all his genetic testing done (I will give it to new dog parent), and is 100% healthy, and 100% Mini Aussie Shepherd, but he is big at 45 pounds. Teddy is neutered. He is a showstopper, and we almost always have people stop us on our walks to comment on how beautiful our boy is.

Good things about Teddy
Extremely cuddly
Excellent Car Rider
Good with Kids
Excellent with most dogs (does not like Dobermanns, Pitbulls or German Shepherds, as he has been attacked by these breeds) Very gentle with small dogs, his best friend is a 4 pound Yorkie
No Separation Anxiety (you can leave him at home all day, and come home and your house will be the same as when you left it, but you will have one very sad dog on your hands :( )

Bad things about Teddy
He hates cats
He does not like Dobermanns, Pitbulls or German Shepherds (see comment above)
He Counter-surfs, don’t leave food out!
Teddy is a houdini-hound, he can open doors, and will figure out how to use the power windows in your car. We have never found a crate that could contain him.
He is a good walker, but if he sees a squirrel, or rabbit, he will rip your arm off.

Teddy is a comedian, he is hilarious. If you are looking for a dog that will keep you laughing, and on your toes - this is your dog. As far as energy levels are concerned, he is not an extremely hyper Aussie. I would say medium energy. Teddy really needs someone who has time. Who will not only walk him, but stimulate him. Someone who cares, and is interested. He gets very sad when left alone for long periods of time (doesn’t act out, but just gets really sad looking).

Don’t take my word for it! Teddy also comes with a character reference from his dog daycare. Must be fluent in Aussie needs.. 604-786-4030
