Spring Chinook Salmon Retention in Sidney! We are looking forward to April and May chinook salmon fishing in Sidney! We are lucky to have hatchery chinook retention opportunites in Haro Strait scheduled to start on April 1st! If you are looking to get out this spring and retain chinook, give us a call or an email. Prawning is also good in April and Ling Cod is productive in May! Sidney is one of the few areas on the South Coast that is scheduled to have salmon retention in April and May! We were fortunate to have excellent weather in November in Vancouver. We were on the water with consistency and found good numbers of chinook alongside other anglers that were also succesful! It has been a solid start to the winter chinook season, looking forward to next few months, it is looking good! We are open all winter long chasing winter chinook salmon on our charters!
