I used to feel lost, overwhelmed and frustrated in my wellness business. I was really good at my craft - helping people heal and experience more wellbeing in their lives - working IN my business. But I had no idea what I was doing to work ON my business to help it grow. I used to tell myself “I’m not very good at business”, that’s why I thought there was no way I could bring my wellness practice online full time and I just needed to accept that I’d being in-person sessions only because of it.

It’s time to stop making excuses and to take full ownership your choices.

You always have a choice and you’re more resourceful than you’re sometimes willing to admit.

I remember how hard it was to make the decision to invest in a coaching program that was the highest ticket program I’d ever signed up for.

I was terrified. And my #1 excuse to myself was I didn’t have the money.

BUT…..

I knew I needed the support and I knew it would help me grow my business and grow myself.

And you know what?

I found a way. I made it work.

I picked up more paid design gigs, I found creative ways to reduce my living expenses and I reduced immediate gratification items and opted for investing in the program I signed up for.

To me, there’s no such thing as competition.

You’re either right for each other (customer and biz) or you’re not.

Might be a timing thing, might be an alignment thing, it might even be a personality thing. Any number of reasons exist why I might not be the right fit for someone…. Right now.

The minute you release the lack mindset of competing for attention/clients/customers, you put yourself in an more empowered place so that you find alignment with the RIGHT people for RIGHT NOW.

So lighten up. Stop focusing on outdoing colleagues or people doing similar things to you and focus on the value you’re offering the people who are already curious and interested in working with YOU.

💫 Why I use when building websites:

There are many different website builder platforms out there these days, so it can be hard to know which one to use. Each one has its set of pros and cons and will also depend on your business and business growth needs.

🏆 BUT!.....

There are still some platforms that generally work well for most businesses and WIX is one of them (and in my opinion the best in most cases).

🚨 Here are my top 3 reasons why:

1️⃣ It is a versatile platform that can easily grow WITH you and your business with loads of add ons and even a developper platform that is top notch for when you get to that point (allowing for endless options for your business).

2️⃣ The learning curve for this platform, compared to others is excellent, while still maintaining the flexibility to build out the exact website you want (not to mention the beautiful templates they offer you to work with!). It does not take rocket science to use the platform, which means I can easily teach you how to manage your own website, leaving money in your pocket and the power in your hands.

3️⃣ Their customer service is superb! They have live chat agents who are extremely friendly, super helpful and 100% committed to making sure your website needs are met. Which means if you have any issues at all, there's always someone there to help you!

Now I'm not saying that this is THE best plaform, nor that it's better than any others. What I AM saying is that this is the platform that I find the most success with and the easiest to empower my clients with the skills to carry forward as their business grows.

I often ask myself this as well as asking my clients to reflect on this. It’s powerful.

As humans, our tendency is to fixate on all the things that could go wrong and we can become consumed or even paralyzed by the “doom stories” our brain comes up with.

But when was the last time you looked at something that challenged you, that made you feel uncomfortable and hesitate for a moment, and thought “how could this work for me?”

Sometimes something just isn’t right for you. But in my experience, so many more things as opposed to not can be of great benefit and value to you if you approach them with this one question.

Next time you’re up against a challenge or a big decision (say, whether or not you’re going to hire a mentor or coach for example), tune into whether the opportunity and the person is right for you but ALSO ask yourself, “How could this work for me and my business?”

Haha getting older just makes me laugh sometimes. Like how did my 20s and 30s go so fast!? How am I old enough now that I’m part of the “when we were kids….” generational lecture groups 😂

I personally LOVE hitting new milestones; in life and in my business! So as I move into a new decade, I can’t help but pause and marvel at what I’ve achieved in the last 40 turns around the Sun, while also feeling excited in anticipation for what I’m creating and is to come!

Pausing to appreciate where you are can have such a powerful impact on you personally but also profoundly in your business as an entrepreneur. It’s all about what you choose to focus on and what perspective you choose to take about it.

We can become impatient and forget to give ourselves credit while also allowing time for our business and our Self to evolve. We still keep moving forward but with less emphasis on “achieving” and more emphasis on “BEing” in every moment is needed.

After all, you wouldn’t want to eat all the food you will ever eat in just one sitting….. take time to savor the evolution of You and your business. Present moment by present moment is all that matters.

Yes, sometimes situations call us to pivot…. It’s not a straight line you know. But you’re always right on track because the process is always evolving and changing.

In this my last 30 days of my 30s, I invite you to join me in reflecting, marveling and celebrating:
🪄 all that you’ve lived through
⭐️ all that you’ve achieved
🏔️ how far you’ve come from when you first launched your business
😎 where you are today
🔮 the future you’re building for yourself as you BEcome who you want to be. ❤️

Can you find satisfaction where you are now and how far you’ve come, while also being eager for what you’re creating and becoming and for what’s to come?

Learn to work smarter, not harder and you’ll see a greater ROI of your time, money, and efforts. Here are some ways to do that:

✅ exercise and nourish your body and your mind regularly
✅ farm out what you can and automate what repetitive tasks can be automated
✅ plan your day before it starts, your week before it starts, your month before it starts and your year before it starts
✅ prioritize Income-Producing-Activities (IPAs)
✅ invest in mentorship and support
