See you there! 👻
We are deeply honored this past Sunday to have Drubgyud Tenzin Rinpoche preside over a Green Tara practice with our lovely friends from Bhutan. 🇧🇹 The practice flowed into beautiful singing and dancing, followed by a delicious (and of course, spicy) potluck. For a moment, it felt as if we’d been magically transported to Bhutan!
In the afternoon, we enjoyed some musical improvizations from Julia, Andrew, and Denis at Soundscapes. It was a sublime and meditative experience that showed how we can insert awareness into any part of our lives, sometimes with a catchy beat! 🎶
What a fantastic day of bringing different communities together and sparking creativity and connection! Our next gathering is on November 3rd. Curious about what we have planned? Check out our featured posts for all the details.✨
Korwa Dondruk: A Red Avalokiteshvara Practice with Drubgyud Tenzin Rinpoche
Korwa Dongdruk, “He Who Churns the Depths of Saṃsara,” is a revealed spiritual treasure of Chokgyur Dechen Lingpa, compiled by Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo. This practice of Red Avalokiteshvara is performed as a ritual for guiding and benefitting those who have passed away. Every month, Korwa Dongdruk is offered online in different parts of the world. This time, we are honored that Drubgyud Tenzin Rinpoche will preside over the practice.

Door opens at 1:30 PM

Zabtik Drolchok: A Green Tara Practice with Drubgyud Tenzin Rinpoche

We are especially delighted to share that Drubgyud Tenzin Rinpoche will preside over the practice. We’ll be dedicating the practice to restoring peace and harmony worldwide and the longevity of all lineage gurus and the buddhadharma

“All the buddhas and bodhisattvas are in essence the same. Buddhas transcend all kinds of shape, color, form, and labels like gender. Likewise, Tara comes in many manifestations. Tara is ultimately none other than the nature of your own mind.” – Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche
🎥 Dhyana: On Trauma, March 2023, Online
Everyone suffers from trauma to some degree. The Buddha taught that our traumas are connected to what happened a minute ago, a month ago or even several lifetimes ago. But most modern people do not care much about anything beyond this life. Fortunately for us, the Buddha also taught that the most effective therapy for trauma is not to trace it back to its origins but to tackle how it manifests in the present moment. In this dhyana session, Mr Khyentse Norbu leads several short meditations to help us handle our traumas.
The recording of this teaching is now edited and available with translations in Cantonese, French, German, Japanese, Mandarin, Polish, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish on:

🎶 Featuring Musicians: Andrew Kim, Denis Franck, Julia Kim
Andrew Kim – Formerly of Delhi2Dublin, Andrew has studied and performed music in India, Bhutan, Africa, and around the world. After recording and touring global festivals, he has focused his energies on meditative music. This process has included inventing his own unique musical instruments, which he uses to guide listeners on immersive sound journeys.
Denis Franck – Exploring rhythms using various percussion instruments has been Denis’ focus for the last thirty years. His life changed when he discovered the family of tambourines called "frame-drums". Having studied with various masters of the instrument, he has developed a personal touch based on finger technique, improvisation, and the ongoing desire to create original soundscapes.
Julia Kim – Based between Bhutan and Vancouver, Julia brings meditation and improvised music (electric violin) into interactive programs on leadership development, wellbeing and wellbeing economics. Prior to this, she was based in South Africa and New York, recording and performing with world music group Mondetta and others, while pursuing an interest in international health and development.

Zabtik Drolma: Empowerment and teachings on Green Tara
“All the buddhas and bodhisattvas are in essence the same. Buddhas transcend all kinds of shape, colour, form, and labels like gender. Likewise, Tara comes in many manifestations. Tara is ultimately none other than the nature of your own mind. She is not really a he or a she or green or white. She doesn’t necessarily have many hands or two hands. But since we are so deluded, we can only understand through references like numbers, colours, shape, tangible things, which is why we have Arya Tara and the other 21 manifestations.”
— Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche
“Accumulating Wisdom and Merit through the Mandala of Arya Tara (Zabtik Drolma),” a profound mind treasure discovered by Chokgyur Dechen Lingpa, is a regular practice of our global community. In Brazil, we meet online every first Sunday of the month to practise this in Portuguese. It is with great joy that Siddhartha's Intent Brasil invites you to the Zabtik Drolma empowerment and teachings on the practice that Rinpoche will grant in Rio de Janeiro.

Living and Dying in Buddhism
“Once you realize that everything you see is projected by your own mind, you are well on the way to understanding that ‘everything’ necessarily includes birth, death, living and dying. This information and practice will help loosen your grip on your ideas about what ‘living’ really is. You will begin to realize that life and living are simply part of yet another illusion.”
— Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche
Ever stopped to think that we are living and dying at the same time? Siddhartha's Intent Brasil invites you to two sessions of teachings with Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche on this topic, which is not only profoundly important but potentially transformative for everyone, whether you're simply curious about Buddhist teachings or a seasoned practitioner.

Come with an open mind: Sincere questions about Buddhism answered by Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche
Why do Buddhists keep talking about impermanence and suffering? – that’s so depressing! And what’s this talk of emptiness – I mean, I have a body and I’m here, aren’t I? And what’s all this guru business about?
The Buddha told his students never just to believe what he said, but to analyse and ask difficult questions until they personally find out what’s real and what’s true. Siddhartha's Intent Brasil has gathered many such sincere questions to ask Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche. Join us with an open mind.

🎥 Ethics and Values in the Modern World, June 2023, Singapore
Buddhists believe that if ethics, wisdom and compassion are in a car, wisdom should be in the driving seat, compassion should sit next to wisdom and ethics should be in the back seat. Ethics and morality are important but tend to be closely linked to cultural values and in the modern world, diverse cultures are becoming increasingly westernized. Buddhist ethics may appear similar to Christian or Islamic morality but are grounded in different values, the most fundamental one of which is the quest for the truth. This quest is the essence of teachings on Buddhist values, such as the Seven Sublime Treasures or in Tibetan, phagpa nordun.
