Our COO Janice had a busy day on Friday at Capilano University where she was speed dating!

She attended a Resume Writing Workshop in the form of “Resume Speed Dating” which puts a fun spin on learning a very valuable skill.

Jarrett joins the AngusOne team with 8 years of recruitment experience, education in literature and storytelling, strategic and frontline leadership skills, and a dash of comedy performance. 🎭

Starting at a staffing agency in the prairies, he progressed from dispatching day labourers to recruiting skilled trades folks. He brought that experience to Vancouver, where he spent several years at a downtown firm, working on a wide array of roles within the Industrial vertical, from manufacturing and production to supply chain, trades, leadership, and more.

In his off time, Jarrett volunteers with a local community group, chronicles his adventures in staffing, and is taking steps to pursue law school where he can apply his knowledge of labour practices to help companies and employees navigate the complexities of working relationships- much as he does now! 👨‍⚖️

Jarrett is excited to bring his experience, knowledge, and sense of humor to the AngusOne team, and help continue to build the legacy of one of Vancouver’s longest operating recruitment firms.
