🌟 Great News from BC's After Hours Care Program! 🌟

Our initiative is making a significant impact, connecting over 597,000 patients with urgent care when their family doctor isn't available. In its first year, 584 physicians and nurse practitioners joined, reducing ER visits by 81% and walk-in clinic visits by 58%!

Thanks to support from the Family Practice Services Committee and HealthLink BC, we're excited to expand this vital service across BC. With 2,788 virtual encounters already completed, both patients and providers are seeing the benefits.

The (LHS) approach has an advantage in addressing in that the model runs counter to cycles of hashtag practised in healthcare organizations when a program does not work as intended or, inevitably, when systemic hashtag are revealed.
