Heads up! LinkedIn is saying goodbye to carousels, profile videos, and clickable links in images and videos starting Dec 14th, 2023.
(FYI: This doesn't affect PDF carousels, phew!)
Here's how you can adapt your content strategy:
1. Craft engaging captions to enhance the impact of single images or videos, providing context and encouraging interaction.
2. Incorporate links directly into your post text rather than just making images clickable.
3. Storytelling with Images: Choose eye-catching standalone images that captivate without needing a carousel.
4. Utilize LinkedIn Articles: Consider using LinkedIn Articles for more in-depth content, allowing you to share detailed information, insights, and expertise.
5. Engage with Comments: Actively participate in post comments to build conversations.
How are YOU planning to adapt? Share your thoughts below! π‘π

Can you help our friends at the Cassidy Farm Market?
"Sadly, early in the morning on October 4th, the building burned down, along with most (if not all) of the products inside. This happened the night before the market was planning their end-of-season thank you sale leading up to Thanksgiving.
"The Stray Moat owners, Whirly and Sabrina, were only renting the building & are stuck with a massive loss of unique local art, produce, equipment, and many other items. That, as well as winter quickly approaching, has left them in an extremely difficult spot financially.
"Any money donated will first be used to pay back local artists for their lost work, and then to support their continued journey to bring real Island food to the Vancouver Island community."

It's a bird! It's a plane! It's a ... butterfly?
Monarchs are on the move to Mexico for the winter. They'll travel about 50 miles a day, sometimes catching a ride on thermal air currents, to complete the 3,000-mile journey!
Here's how you can be a trail angel along their epic migration:
πΈPlant a pollinator garden with milkweed and late-blooming perennials like asters and goldenrods to fuel next year's journey.
πAvoid spraying insecticides, especially on plants that will flower in the fall.
π§Add a butterfly watering area to your garden. Place a shallow dish of water on the ground with some decorative stones for the monarchs to land on while they take a sip.
