Kibale National Park:
One of my absolute favourite parts of my recent trip to Africa. A wonderful experience I won’t soon forget. Chimpanzee tracking in the park was rough- lots of mud, bugs, obstacles, pure bushwhacking. I came out with lots of scrapes, bruises, and mud stained shoes (still haven’t been able to get the mud out) but that’s what I call an adventure!! I’m not sure what made me love this park so much- maybe it was the tall twisty trees full of character and life, or the incredible primates (seriously that baby is sooo adorable), the endless greenery that reminded me of home, or just the playful spirit of the park and the adventure it gave.
I adored this part of the trip, Hope you enjoy the photos I got 😊🤍

Back in September I was trying out Astrophotography for the first time, didn’t work out quite how I wanted to but hey I was just winging it, and I was wayyyy to tired to stay up late enough to get some good shots. Here’s my first attempt lol. I’m going to work on that more this year.

I’ve been looking back at the photos from this shoot last year and I still love them. They’re so full of light and warmth and fun. And the lighting is just incredible. Looking forward to more spring/summer shoots in the good weather.
