Last Saturday I had so much fun doing Raku with Dan at Victoria Clay Art.

I got to try two techniques on my bud vases: horse hair and Naked Raku.

I absolutely loved working with the horse hair.

Hoping I get another opportunity to Raku with Dan (🤞)

Fresh out of the kiln. Look how adorable they are with lawn flowers (aka weeds 😂) and corks…

I just had to capture this beautiful array of fallen rhododendron flowers, the brilliance of greens and the subtle earthy tones of these creamy dreamy mugs!

This little bud vase full of wild poppies was gifted to an amazing colleague of mine who is moving on to a new adventure. Best of luck Sarah!

This cup made its debut today at my friend’s home office.

I’m testing out this new green glaze and am pleased with how it’s turned out on the vessels and these small cups.

These little vessels are inspired by Hansen-Ross Pottery - one of my most favourite childhood hangouts and where my passion for pottery began.

Not naming names but my amazing friend who calls me the ‘moody potter’ has once again challenged me with her inspiration. I wonder who is the true master?

I am having so much fun with this glaze combo that I am calling it ‘creamy dreamy’ and am going to use a variety of accent colours. Brown & blue to start!!
