Companies are hosting Christmas parties like never before. Why? Not only to celebrate getting out there to live events but more importantly, trying to reward, recognize and retain people. Some large companies are spending $2M on their party complete with champagne, oysters and caviar. Fun sad fact. 2M people have googled "excuses for not showing up to work." I wonder if any of our members are hosting parties.
