Some beautiful hickory engineered flooring going down and floor protection right after. One of the most effective ways we have found to keep your flooring protection down if using a non self adhesive product (like ramboard) is the double tape method. Blue 3M tape is a medium adhesion which we go around the perimeter of the floor with and then red sheathing tape the flooring protection to the blue. Goes down great and come up easy when your finished. We also like to keep the flooring protection away from the walls slightly to give our team room to work with baseboards and so it’s easier to peel up afterwards.

Productive week!! Siding finished, laundry tiled, Ceilings have been coated.. team is tuning up this wavey floor to get us to a flat plane, hardwood and cabinets coming shortly😃 happy Friday everyone!

This place used to be so dark and feel quite small.. the boys have put on a primer coat and it already feels so bright, airy and much larger!! Stoked to see the finished product of this little tree house space🥰🙌 great work lads!🙏

Construction is not all glam, actually most of it is hard, dirty and difficult work. Here we have a sub floor we are checking for level and straight. It’s important to get the waves out of your subfloor, this is done by planing, sanding the high points and pouring a self level mix into the low points to even it out. Stay tuned for progress on this next week!
