Here's a poster I banged up for our upcoming house show. I have some other posters that haven't been released yet as well... Sadly haven't been painting or drawing much lately. Gotta change that.
Stay tuned for a big art sale. We're going to California for my 50th birthday in November and need to raise some spending money.

I've been neglecting this page, but have been making some art here and there - here are some recent pieces. Mosty pen and paper, but I made a couple of posters and an ad for my band's new record (digital)

A new poster!

I've been a fan of Montreal's Ripcordz for 30 years, and have considered them friends for 20. Countless good times on the road. Any time they come to town, it's a blast!

Universal Monsters have been a huge thing for me as long as I can remember. Here is a series of paintings of them done on 12" vinyl records.

Damn, I haven't painted in a while, but October really brings out the spooky in me.

I forgot to post these here last month. I painted a few Dischord Records covers to sell as a fundraiser for my daughter's dry grad. Minor Threat sold, but the other 2 are still kicking around.

In the closing moments of 2021 I decided to actually paint something this year (I temporarily lost vision in one of my eyes in December 2020 and it took a long time to come back).The Dwarves was done in the final days of 2021 and Mudhoney was done on New Year's Day 2022. I must have had Sub Pop on my mind. More art to come this year!

I banged out a quickie portrait of Chi Pig today based on an amazing photo by Tamara Taggart. I miss him so much.

To say we were crushed that we had to cancel our trip to L.A. in April for Todd and Jennifer's wedding would be an understatement. Now that they have received it, I can post a pic of the painting I did for them as a wedding gift.

True story: I reviewed this album for Razorcake when it came out, and I gave it a mediocre review (what?!). Todd said to me (paraphrasing) "I don't normally do this, and if you stand by this review I will run it, but I think you should listen to this album five more times. After that, if you don't think it is one of the most amazing albums out there, I will buy your copy off of you."
He was right. 100%. At this point I cannot imagine my life without this album. I will be eternally grateful to him for pushing me to give it a chance. Easily a Top 5 album of all time for me!

Been wanting to do this one for a bit.
