The traveller returns, all be it jetlag-thick-headed, from London, Paris, and the Brecon Beacons (the borderland twixt Wales and England). Wonderful trip…bloody exhausting!

Important update on The Corset and Jellyfish, and The River. We’ll be having a double launch, here in Victoria on Nov 7th at 7pm. The talk, reading of drabbles, questions answered and signing venue is Russel Books on Fort St, The Papery, opposite, will also be joining in. Please do come, and let other folks know about the event—I will be doing my best to entertain.
*The Papery has their advance copies of The River, (the new card deck and book box), so if you want to get a jump on everyone else, that’s the place to go.

Charliss Santos, won the t-shirt design contest for her vision of “Every Child Matters”. "Charliss is a grade 10 student at St. Augustine School in Ponoka, Alberta, Canada, and her design showcases an Indigenous child encompassed in two hands and surrounded by people, a heart, and an eagle. The child’s silhouette represents all the Indigenous children who suffered or were impacted by the Indian Residential schools. The people surrounding the child represent the strong communities of the Indigenous people and the way they support each other. The heart represents healing and forgiveness, and the eagle symbolizes acceptance, honesty, and freedom." 🧡
