We are really excited to have Mr. Wu come over from Portland, Oregon and grace our ears with his delicious sound. He began DJing in 2008, drawing inspiration from hiphop culture and the energy of attending early 2000s raves along the West Coast. He has played an array of festivals including, Lightning in a Bottle, Bass Coast and What the Festival. You can expect nothing less than to shake your b***y when you find yourself on the dance floor during one of his sets. He seamlessly fuses bass and club hiphop to create the perfect atmosphere for expression and movement.

Fun fact! Mr. Wu was born on Vancouver Island, and this show will be his debut playing in Victoria which makes it extra special.

🌸⛩️ARTIST HIGHLIGHT⛩️🌸 Influenced by the West Coast music scene BiiSHoP’s journey into the world of DJing began in 2016 as a passion project, fueled by their love for good music and the desire to create something truly from the heart. With a keen ear for selecting vibey tracks and curating a set with a range of vibrational frequencies, she takes the dance floor on a journey of movement and sound.

Through sharing music, BiiSHoP strives to awaken the energetic body within each of us, tapping into the deep, mystical power of the universal language of sound. Infused with otherworldly energies, her sound is a blend of deep, sensual bass and dark ethereal melodies, which combine to create a unique experience for listeners.

This song from Mirage - fka Blackout is dedicated to Bass Temple series featuring a sexier side of Bass Music. Inspired by his partner Heather Dumont dance show, he wanted to explore the world of R&B and we think this is a good result 😇

🌸⛩️ARTIST HIGHLIGHT⛩️🌸 From the forest of the west coast of BC, Mews was raised in the paws of festival culture. Her curiosity for music was ignited at a young age and she knew from early on that she needed to share this passion with the world. Her sound is largely influenced by all types of bass music, predominantly coming from the UK, infused with r’n’b, hiphop, rap, dancehall and nostalgic dance floor anthems from her youth. Dissolving the boundaries between genres, you can count on her to get your body moving with earth shaking bass and warm heart tones. She now graces the stages of festivals such as Wicked Woods, Shambhala and Rifflandia as well as events across Canada and beyond.

Fighting evil by moonlight, winning love by daylight, never running from a real fight, she is the one named Mews.

🌸⛩️ARTIST HIGHLIGHT⛩️🌸 Growing up immersed in BC’s music festival scene from a young age Okiro quickly found his love for underground bass music. In 2014 he began Djing under the alias “feeals” and has continued evolving his sound and original production.

Largely influenced and inspired from the sounds of UK’s sub-heavy dubstep, garage, grime, rap, and r&b, Okiro’s sets range bpm and vibes. With an ear for quality sounds and known by fans for curating something special that lasts far beyond the dancefloor.

Playing sets at festivals like Shambhala, Luminosity, Burning Man and Oregon Eclipse, to countless shows and events locally and internationally Okiro has made a name for himself within the electronic music scene.

🌸⛩️ARTIST HIGHLIGHT⛩️🌸 Coco is a DJ, drum maker and tattoo artist from SSI. She love’s mixing electronic and dub tracks with an Eastern feel with hip-hop/R&B, and sprinkling some alternative nostalgia on top.

🌸⛩️ARTIST HIGHLIGHT⛩️🌸 Mirage’s musical journey mirrors the illusory nature of sound, bending and refracting across genres, creating an experience that captivates and transcends expectations in the realm of music production. Originally hailing from Québec, Mirage (formerly known as ‘Blackout’) began delving into the fusion of house and hip-hop on the analog grooves of vinyl in 2010. With an innate ability to craft rhythms spanning Garage, breaks, and beats, Mirage seamlessly weaves scratch routines into his bass music tracks, navigating the BPM spectrum from 87 to 175. In his latest exploration, Mirage immerses himself in the depths of 140 and Deep D&B & Jungle, consistently pushing the boundaries.

Beyond the studio, Mirage is a community-builder in Victoria, B.C.’s music scene. The architect behind Dubversified Culture, he founded this underground community in 2017 with a mission to elevate local West Coast bass artists and forge connections across global Bass music and House scenes. Mirage’s dedication underscores his commitment to navigating the ever-evolving landscape of electronic music.

The kind of bass that allows people to integrate, love and play with the parts of themselves that has been banned to the shadows.
