As black men we don't talk about mental health like we should. We usually think we've been thru too much as a race to say we need help. It's never to late to reach out and ask for help. In a world of such uncertainty, I hope we can get back to just being good people to each other. We got so wrapped up in a difference of opinion to the point families are falling apart. Human connection is being lost. It's a sad time but we'll make it through like we always do. For those out east I know it must be hard on y'all but keep the faith. Hard times only last as long as you let them. Find simple joys in day to day life. If you woke up today healthy it's a blessing, now go enjoy the day it's Monday no reason to be in any type mood. The Steelers lost and I'm still smiling... Ish . But that's cause the cowboys lost too everything is balanced again.

As I sit here reminiscing about the year I think to myself, damn I wish I never had that macaroni salad from tyree grand ma. Think it had some cheese in it but that goat was unreal. Now on to important things, new services are now up on the site. The experience is basically a haircut with no . Tis the season to gift your barber. In years past I've said I was an 8.5 in shoes, which was well received and appreciated. Also may have said I was a medium top medium bottle or a 32 waist with a 31 inseam. I believe I also have asked for a bottle of bourbon, which is always appreciated. For this year I will add gift cards to home Depot. Why you may ask, well this year I bought a new mattress and now that mattress needs a home. So why buy a bed when you can ask 16 to 32 for gift cards. So if you love your eyebrows and you barber you know what to do. And yes I will use my daughter to help get a new bed frame.

Good news bad news what you wanna hear first ? Ummmm let's start bad news. I'm booking into the Feb now and if you haven't secured your spot go now. Good news, I've added a new service. Read very carefully, you will now need to book haircut and beard separately now. ALL Haircuts will be 45 min appointments. The 15 min OKIE DOKIE has been added. This includes beard trims, line ups, tapers, clean ups or anything I can get done in 15 mins. So don't book the OKIE DOKIE and expect a full service and cut. This is to fit people in that don't take long but still need clean ups. So if you wanna book a haircut and beard book 2 appointments , if your just booking a cut just book the cut. This will be in effect in the new year since y'all booked to fast . HAIRCUT price is now $50 OKIE DOKIE price is now $30. Now say you have two kids and you wanna squeeze em into 1hr book a HAIRCUT AND OKIE DOKIE. It will take time to adjust but I will be able to get more in the day and hopefully get the new clients in the chair faster than 2 month waits and forgetting you booked an appointment months in advance. You ever notice the hair on the floor once you leave the shop thinking damn I missed it, I'll get it in the morning but it's the weekend and you won't be in til Monday. Lesson here is don't eat too many gummies while you hungover from drinking shots with your daughter. 35 ain't to bad same goals as I've always had, buy 366 shoes for everyday of the year. I don't know what it is about these ergos but they hit. Most know I like to try new clippers on the regular. Thanks to they keep me updated with the best clippers on the market. This is his natural curl no perm needed. Most brown munde hate their curls. When style right using curl creme you can achieve the curls you want. Curly hair is by far my favorite hair to cut and style, so please embrace your natural curl patterns. If you really wanna try a curl and you have straight hair, try a perm with . Its been a blessing to be able to go to work and stay busy during these times of uncertainty. While I've been blessed to be booked out far in advance, I've missed the opportunity to connect with new clients. I've decided to adjust my prices, this will take effect March 1 2021. To those that still continue to book and not show up same rules apply. Your email will be blocked. If you change your email and continue to no show no call, I will take the necessary steps to ensure you can't book again. It's not fair to me or to others that are waiting 7 weeks to get a cut. It's my hope to not be booked out as far in advance and can take the new clients that are trying to come in. Please don't hesitate to ask for referrals. It's officially happened, I'm old and my body hurts. More so my flat feet just need more rest and I need to do more self-care.So with great sadness I'll be cutting my 16 to 20 hr days off. Ive found that I only need to do 49 to 55 cuts a week and that formula works for me. I'll be adding a Wednesday in but that day has been reserved for bi weekly appointments only and not available online. I've been blessed to be able to structure my schedule that best suits my needs. Barbers make sure you put yourself first so you can be there for your clients. Find what formula works for you to make the money you want. Base it on a 48 weeks instead of a 52 weeks, take some vacation time you deserve it. Don't be like me and go to hard and only buy shoes. But it's been a good month didn't buy 1 pair. As always sugar is my addiction and I'll be trying to kick that habit. I pray for all that come in the chair while I convert to this healthy life bu****it. I'm not happy but apparently Nönö needs me in her life.
