For the Courtney Street penthouse contemporary, eclectic pieces were introduced in a bold yet classic neutral scheme with layering textures and pops of bright yellow. Sweeping organic, low forms encourage movement in the space and offset the rigidity of some of the building’s more industrial, rectilinear elements while enhancing the expansive views.

High ceilings were highlighted yet brought to human scale with the use of custom, modern lighting and suspended furnishings while the new fireplace millwork adds a romantic element for the couple to enjoy when they are ready to unwind from the hustle and bustle of downtown.

Starting from a blank slate, this space needed to reflect a youthful energy of the owners and modern vibrancy of its central downtown location featuring spectacular 180-degree views. This has been one of our favorite projects to date, for both interiors and graphics. Meade Design Group had the privilege of transforming the living room of a home located in the heart of Mexico City. Nestled amidst the city’s rich cultural heritage, this project aimed to infuse the space with sophistication and elevate its ambiance to reflect the client’s refined taste.

With classical architectural elements, Residencia Chapultepec provided a canvas to weave in contemporary elements seamlessly. With a focus on modern furnishings, globally inspired lighting fixtures, and a beautiful art collection, Iván and his team aimed to create a room that exudes elegance and charm. The result not only celebrates the classical roots of its architecture but also embraces the allure of modernity.

Meade Design Group’s approach to this project reflects the essence of the client’s lifestyle – exquisite, inviting, and tailored to perfection. This living room stands as a testament to the seamless integration of classical architecture with contemporary elements, creating a space that is both timeless and captivating.

The Meade Design Group team was pleased to be invited to work on this project that was filled with such heart and compassion for the potential residents of this respite care facility. Special safety considerations had to be made for the end-users, but the goal was to maintain an ambiance that felt like home.

A soft palette of sages, pale blues, rich wood tones and neutrals respect the character of the home and appeal to the demographic of clientele without being clinical or stuffy. A well-balanced blend of traditional and modern furnishings solidifies this concept, while keeping cleanliness and comfort at the forefront of selections throughout.
