Learn more about volunteering with the Colwood/View Royal Emergency Support Services and Emergency Radio Communication Teams at our Emergency Program Volunteer Info Session May 9th, 6:30pm-7:30pm

If a fire, flood or other emergency forces West Shore neighbours out of their home with no place to stay, the Emergency Support Services Team is there to help. They work closely with emergency responders and liaise with service providers to coordinate accommodations and other services when disaster strikes.

Its important to understand the Tsunami alerts issued by the Province, however if you feel a strong earthquake over 60 sec and it’s hard to stand, that’s your warning to head to higher ground if you are in a tsunami hazard zone.
