We're ending this phase with some retests this week.
That means a new training block is coming up!
Some important things to consider during the heat wave this week:
• Drink more water than you usually do. You'll be sweating more try to get more back in ya.
• Be ok with either reduced performance or scaling workouts. Doing a bike and toes to bar workout feels different when it's 15 degrees in the gym versus the 30 degrees it is now.
• If you need a quick cooldown, grab one of the pink spray bottles and spray it into the fan. It'll act like a misting station for a little refresher.
Lots of strict pull ups coming up. Plus a classic CrossFit benchmark.

We'll do 3 workouts.
We'll crown some winners.
We'll have a good time doing it.
Most importantly, we'll break out the BBQ and hang with our gym crew.

Another week of getting better.
Big, wholesale changes in nutrition often are short lived. Small wins add up.
We're more likely to stick with something if it's easy to implement along what we're already doing.
So for the month of May, try adding more protein to your diet on the days that you workout.
If that's 3 days a week, that's ~12 more days this month where you improved your eating habits that you didn't have before.
That's huge.
Start there and we'll check back at the start of June.
