Eating and cooking highlights from our home away from home in the Auvergne ! Also a fun dinner out in Lyon on our way home. So much great food available and time to cook with it.

The highlight of a few days in Paris. Left the kids at home and had the evening to ourselves food, service and wine all delightful. Some very clever dishes including the head scratcher wagyu MilleFeuille, and vegetal pastilla, left us w inspo to take home. Wines were about as perfectly paired you could get. My palate has been satiated until we’re back in Paris next year.

A few dining highlights from Helsinki and Rovaniemi. So much reindeer and salmon!! Loved that giant blini and reindeer smokies on the fire were a fave.

A few days holiday eating in Los Angeles! So many tacos and a festive dinner at . Feeling warmed up and ready to brave January. Happy new year!

A beautiful night for the Harbour light up. We served up over 1000 hot chocolates to holiday enthusiasts.

Wrapping up a little rnr and prepping for a crazy busy holiday season! We did pretty much nothing. Beach, pool, eat and repeat.

Welcome Tracy! Tracy is our new catering operations assistant. Tracy is originally from Vietnam, adding to Little Piggy’s service languages. Did you know our staff speak English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Hindi, Ukrainian, Russian and now Vietnamese! Fun and helpful!

Welcome Leonid! Can you believe this guy has only been in Canada since Tuesday?! He gets down to business fast. We’re delighted to have him join the team all the way from Crimea.

Volunteering today at Redfern Parkfest. Dished out a few hundred hot dogs to the neighborhood. Then a nice little sit in the beer garden while the kids jumped in the bouncy castle. It was a family affair.

We closed this long weekend for family time and a staff mental health break for our team! Hoping our crew is feeling refreshed and excited for eight more weeks of summer events.

We started planning for the labour shortage 12 years ago. Now we just need to get her sister in the kitchen.

One of our favourite events of the year, commemorating the Canadian Scottish Regiment’s role in the WW1 battle of Kitchener Wood. A staff favourite- everybody loves the bagpipes and ceremonial haggis. Thanks Kelly for the photo. 🇨🇦

And so it begins! You know it’s summer when the pig roasts start.

A couple Paris highlights. My fave - the Vaudeville tradition enters its 21st year. A splash at the Bristol Hotel’s 114Faubourg for a little tasting menu fun (they had a tasty kids menu too.) Ready to go home though and eat a little lighter for awhile.

A week eating chez nous! Visits to the local markets and an obligatory stop at our fave kebab shop. Nice to be cooking in France again.

Another day on holiday in Napoli. Left the pizza trail briefly, since you can’t eat pizza all the time… (at least we’ve determined a limit of once a day). The alternatives are pretty good around here.

Everybody hard at work this morning putting out almost 400 lunches for the hardworking folks at BC Cancer. Buddha bowls, quiche and empanadas. Always a pleasure to our feed health care workers .

Happy Family Day! Sent Grandpa off to Morocco and enjoyed some tasty Ukrainian food.

Post holiday getaway to Portland, all the food, all the doughnuts!

What happens when caterers take the night off? They head over to a friends house, and well, they cater dinner…
