Day 8 of the caricature resolution. This is my first year doing it, and it’s been awhile since doing caricatures so it’s been good to knock the rust off. I use to do these for grad parties for the school district when I was living in PG.

This pose and her glutes really showed the muscles connect to the iliac crest.
Hips really are the power house of the body.

I do love anatomy.
This knowledge really comes in handy when figuring out poses, or if you’re doing creature designs and you have to exaggerate, distort or make adjustments to anatomy to make the creature work.

Sketch Girlz 2024 start

New year, new sketch book cover format.

Going into my third year with this iPad

The first year I kind of questioned my decision, no matter what brush I used I just couldn’t find my flow, and then last year I found the inka brush which let me get sketchy, but I could never get to a finished stage with the in house brushes, but, by a fluke I was messing around with the brush editor and started my custom charcoal set, which has allowed for a loose sketch and let me move to a finished drawing.
