Thank you JOP Studios for having another photo night. It was a short visit on my end, but it great seeing everyone again. Previously, we had all photographed Amanda when she was still pregnant at Jenn's studio. Now, the twins have arrived.

Im starting a series called "What is motherhood". It's capturing the day in a life as a mother. The series will be all black and white, and all within their homes. I'm going to post more details later on once I get a chance to sit down again. But for now, here is the first session that I captured yesterday morning. If anyone would like to more know about the series before I manage to post about it, feel free to shoot me a message and I'll get back to you ASAP.

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!

I wanted to start out this year with a WOW photo. I've been holding onto this photo for awhile now. I wanted to post it a few weeks ago, but I kept deleting it. Today is the day!

A few months (or maybe it was weeks, time is all squished together at this point) I was welcomed into JOP Studios for a photographers event. She has an AMAZING studio set up, and I took A LOT of photo's that day between the two models. If anyone knows Amanda (pregnant mama in photo) you will know she is not camera shy, not even a little bit! I asked her a few weeks ago if I could post this photo, and of course she said yes!

So, I am officially welcoming and starting off 2023 with a bo***ir maternity photo! I seriously love this image, and I hope others do as well.

Bill & Crystal tied the knot December 10th at the Brooklea Golf and Country Club in Midland with a Beauty & the Beast themed wedding 🌹

I have never been to a styled shoot before. Last night, JOP Studios put on a photographer's appreciation event. It was such a fun, relaxing and great time meeting new photographers, learning new skills and photographing two baby mama's to be. Some of my followers may already know Amanda and Amanda is carrying twins. She's the owner and photographer for Sila Studios out of Walkerton. Last night Amanda had the opportunity to be a model and here are a few sneak peaks.

I have to admit, I'm a bit rusty on maternity photo's as I mainly do weddings, but AHHHH I LOVE THESE!

Ashley was our other model for the night and I will post a separate post for her!

November 5th - Andrew & Ashley tied to knot at the Galt Country Club in Cambridge. It was a beautiful day but SUPER windy, but it worked out in the end. We were able to take Andrew and Ashley outside for some sunset photos and a breath of fresh air. The day ended with their friends and family on the dance floor, cocktails, cake and of course the poutine bar. Yum!

I hope your both enjoying your hot sunny honeymoon in the tropics and thank you again for having Amanda and I capture your special day.

Grayden & Zoey had a very small and intimate wedding on a Monday morning back in October. Can you guess which day it was? The rain held off long enough for the ceremony and then we ventured off to the reception area where we had afternoon brunch. Mmmm eggs and bacon!

Congratulations to you both and thank you for allowing me to capture your wedding day!

October 22 - FINALLY, after three years of waiting Michael and Simone got married!!! I think I'll let the photo's do the talking for this one. I'm just so happy how this day went. For a late October wedding, the weather was perfect, the sun was shining and the fall leaves were in full colour. Also, St. Jacobs has so many areas to take great photos. I love that little town.

October 15th. Welcome to the London Club which is located in the heart of the city. Mathew and Makayla surrounded themselves with friends and family as they tied the knot within this beautiful establishment. We were also able to slip into the Grand Theatre which is right behind the club to grab a few snapshots before the concert started. Congratulations again to you both!

October 8th - Welcome to Cranberry Creek Gardens where Scott & Samantha tied the knot this past Saturday. I told sam I was super excited to photograph at this location, and I was not disappointed. The grounds at Cranberry Creek gardens are beautiful. Thank you again Scott & Sam for a great day! By the way, supper was delicious - mmmm food truck!!!

September 24th - Rodney & Crystal. Their wedding was on FIRE!!! Not literally, but keep scrolling and you will see what I mean. 😉

Sept 17th. In the cozy town of Teeswater was a small little wedding for Nicholas & Jenna. Thank you for the laughs and allowing me to photograph the second wedding for your family. Congratulation's to you both! Here is your sneak peak Jenna Starynec 😀

I'm deep into fall weddings now. Sept 10th started off with Ayden and Melissa. Chantyl and I spent the day photographing their wedding and it was the perfect day and the perfect location. What can I say, I'm a sucker for country weddings. 🙂

The sunlight hit them at the perfect time to give off a nice golden glow. I love how their photo's turned out. The countdown is on until their wedding day. I have a gut feeling its going to be a riot. Only time will tell 😃
