As many of you know, has been on a medical leave for several months. We are emotional today as we let you, her friends & guests, know that due to a life threatening allergy in all colour product, Ashlie has been forced to end her career in this industry.
She loved being a hairstylist. It was her passion.
We love her loyal & steady personality, her dark sense of humour, and her natural gift for creating beautiful hair. She worked hard to excel and yet, never saw this job as “work”.
While this is a very sad way to say goodbye, we know she will thrive in any path she chooses forward!

In February of 2022, 3 months before Palm Hair Co. first opened our doors, our owner/stylist Jocelyn was rushed to the Hospital with an unknown medical emergency.
A medical team was able to save her life with 5 minutes to spare and deliver her baby 4 weeks early.
Unfortunately, Jocelyn had an undiagnosed ovarian tumour that had ruptured, resulting in major internal bleeding, and causing the baby’s placenta to begin detaching.
We are so thankful that the medical professionals were able to save these two lives.
Ovarian cancer is hard to diagnose, and kills the majority of Canadian women who develop this disease.
This Black Friday sale is unique. With a minimum cash donation of $5 towards the Ovarian Cancer Canada foundation, all retail product (excluding holiday packs) will be 25% off.
