Sometimes we choose the wrong products. Or we try something new that a friend suggested but it doesn’t work well for us.
But we have spent money on them. 💰
Do we throw it out?
That’s a waste.

Here are some tips I use when helping a client who’s using something that isn’t the best choice but we don’t want to waste the product either.

Can you tell the difference?
👣 Two pedicures
One has a polish application (Zoya) the other is a gel application (Evo)

Both are great products free from harsh unwanted chemicals.
The difference is that the Evo is instantly dry. As it’s cured. Need to be able to get into a pair of shoes right away this is your choice. Don’t want to do out in the winter cold in sandals this is your choice.
Want longevity and shine for 6-8 weeks? Evo will hold the shine longer.
A solution to that if you choose polish is applying a clear top coat after 2 weeks to bring that shine back on your polish application. 😊

Nail polish can be remove with polish remover with ease on your own.
Evo will need our remover to do so as acetone is harder on the natural nails. Or I will remove it for you when you have your next pedicure.

At the end of it all it is your preference. There is no right or wrong choice. That’s why I still offer both.
You decide which is best for you. Either way they are both great products that are free from harsh chemicals that we don’t want on our bodies and I don’t want to be working day in and day out with those types of products either.

Do I really need cuticle oil?

Yes! But why?
Cuticle oil is great for keeping nails and fingers moisturized, but it’s much more than that.

Hydrated nails are stronger and more flexible, meaning if you catch it, it bends, but has less chance of breaking. Cuticle oil not only keeps them healthy and strong. It helps your manicure last longer.

As your nails dehydrate they can shrink and or curl slightly, pulling them away from the product that is on them. This can cause premature, lifting of the product and in turn broken nails.

I recommend using a high-quality cuticle oil, at least once a day, more, if you’re frequently washing your hands, and or using hand sanitizer.
