Well, it's for everybody. Many of us think we can't practice yoga because we aren't flexible, but the truth is: Yoga is for everyone. If you can breathe, you practice yoga every single day.

Seasons greetings! Our hearts are filled with gratitude this holiday season as we look back on 2022. From our family to yours, we wish you the joys of the season and a 2023 filled with happiness and good health.
We want to say a big welcome to Parth, our new physiotherapist. Parth has actually been with us for more than 3 months, but we've just been hermits on our social channels.
He's been a lot of fun to be around in the office, and from the feedback we've gotten, his patients also love him. He brings a Doctor of Physiotherapy degree from Australia, and as a former rugby player and power lifter, loves to help athletes get back in the game, as well as anyone else struggling with pain and mobility issues.
Please join us in welcoming Parth to the PhysioMira team!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"I am grateful to Roger Cote for his great work. I came into the clinic with sharp pain in my back which affected my mobility and my life. Thanks to his professional help I was assigned to make a complex of exercises which helped me to go back to normal life. I would recommend his services to everybody." - Google Reviewer
Welcome Ashlee!!
She’s out newest Kinesiology coop student from University of Waterloo. Ashlee will be with us until the end of August. If you see her in the clinic, say hi! A little bit about her: Hi, my name is Ashlee and I am very excited to be working at PhysioMira Physiotherapy this term! I am a kinesiology student at the University of Waterloo and I want to be a physiotherapist when I am done with school. I am very interested in learning about injury prevention and rehabilitation in a clinic setting. I hope to learn a lot during this placement that will help me with my future schooling. I am also minoring in nutrition at school and love learning about food. I also love reading, watching movies, hiking and dogs!
Happy birthday to Mitch! Thanks for all the laughter and energy you bring to the clinic.
Two months in and we are so happy to have added Roger to the team. Between his dad jokes, sports fandom and overall great sense of humor, Roger doesn’t only provide excellent treatment but also a pleasant experience.
Mitch had his last day of kinesiology coop with us last Friday also..but.. he loved it so much he’s staying for another term. We couldn’t be more thrilled as he’s become an invaluable asset to the team. Thank you for the wonderful students!
Goodbye (for now) Emily! Yesterday was the official end of Emily’s coop term with us. She has been with the clinic for over a year and will continue to work part time in the clinic. Emily has been an absolute pleasure to have as part of the team and we’re so happy she chose us for her first kinesiology coop term. We wish her the best as she starts classes again next week

“I started coming to Mira with chronic pain issues that had been bothering me for years, and it made a world of difference. I noticed my body was feeling better after the first few sessions and for the first time, I am finally able to get through my day without debilitating pain.”

Hello, my name is Mitch. I am currently in my 4th year working towards my Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology at the University of Waterloo. I am currently on a 4 month co-op work term and am excited to work with knowledgeable and experienced physiotherapists. After my undergraduate I will be applying to do a master’s in physical therapy with hopes to pursue a career in physiotherapy.
Outside of the clinic I play soccer at the varsity level, spend time with my family and watch every sport imaginable with my roommates.
I had decided years ago that I wanted to pursue physiotherapy because I have suffered from several injuries from soccer and the main reason I am still able to play today is due to the physiotherapists who have helped me along the way. I want to be able to help others achieve their goals and live a healthy, active lifestyle.
Hi! My name is Emily. I'm currently in my second year of my studies in Kinesiology at the University of Waterloo. I started volunteering at PhysioMira during my first year of school and was super excited when I was able to turn the experience into my first co-op work term this winter. My goal while working at PhysioMira is to broaden my experience and knowledge in the field of physiotherapy. I have always been involved in sports and outdoor activities, and that has not been without injuries of my own. After going to physiotherapy to help me recover, I realized that I have a passion to learn about human anatomy and injury rehabilitation. Working at PhysioMira has helped me see that I am definitely studying the right program. Aside from the clinic, I do spend my time in other ways. Outdoor activities, exercising, and reading are all things you might find me doing in my free time. You may even find me doing my homework once in a while :)
We’re Hiring!
We’re in search of a physio for March. Are you looking or know anyone interested in working in Waterloo, let us know!
Last January when we opened our doors on Erb Street, Waterloo welcomed us with open arms, and the community immediately made us feel at home. You’ve shown us love with all your referrals and reviews—we are truly humbled. The overwhelming demand was a lot for a single therapist.
We have been searching a long time for a second physiotherapist that matched the energy, treatment style, and experience our patients are looking for. Please say hello to Manu, our new physiotherapist!
Manu recently moved to Waterloo from the US and has been a physiotherapist for nearly a decade. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our clinic and our community. She is warm, caring, and passionate about her job. She is excited to make Waterloo her family’s home.
The blue crew wishes you a happy Holiday Season. Thank you for an amazing year and for trusting us with your care. We are so grateful to know you.
