On September 10, Niagara College took part in the Third Annual United Way Firetruck Pull, marking the official launch of the 2024 United Way Niagara Campaign.

Team NC was one of the 21 teams that competed in the event, clocking a pull time of 16:75 seconds. Their dedication was part of a larger effort that raised $25,000 for the United Way Niagara Campaign which goes directly to funding social programs within the region. Hockey players from the Niagara Jr. Knights hockey camp made use of Niagara College’s Justice & Fitness Center at the Welland Campus to get ice-ready for their upcoming season. In early August, NC's Baking & Pastry Arts students turned the Benchmark Dining Hall into an international marketplace, showcasing their skills in a vibrant pop-up event.
