I believe that everyone, regardless of where they are in life’s journey, would agree – we have a lot going on! Each year we set goals and resolutions but I realized each year is cyclical. Every year, resolutions missed and situations remain unchanged. So when my friend asked where the year went I was encouraged to take a look back and see if I did indeed keep my goals and make my changes. Check out what I found!

Be careful of JOBS that lure you in with 1 and 2 but rob you with 3, 4 and 5.

But if we look closer… things happen for a reason. And most of the time... they are a chain reaction of decisions that we’ve made ourselves. And that’s okay. Experiences are how we learn.

How we see a problem often is the problem.

“I lost” drives feelings of regret and can start a downward spiral towards giving up, self-criticism, and even a sense of unworthiness.

“I learned” drives focus toward the next opportunity and a posture ready for improvement.

In the middle of these two opposites, FEAR and FAITH comes one thing that all of us must do in order to choose to live by faith and to grow... WE must learn to CONFRONT.

A great definition for this word is one of the simplest. To CONFRONT... is simply to deal with a problem or difficulty face to face or head on as if it cannot be avoided. Being willing to CONFRONT that which we FEAR makes our FAITH grow... and as a result will bring change to our lives.

Albert Einstein once wrote on a blackboard :
9 x 1 = 9
9 x 2 = 18
9 x 3 = 27
9 x 4 = 36
9 x 5 = 45
9 x 6 = 54
9 x 7 = 63
9 x 8 = 72
9 x 9 = 81
9 x 10 = 91

Suddenly chaos erupted in the classroom because Einstein made a mistake. Obviously, the correct answer to 9 × 10 isn’t 91. And all his students ridiculed him.
Einstein waited for everyone to be silent and said:
“Despite the fact that I analyzed nine problems correctly, no one congratulated me. But when I made one mistake, everyone started laughing. This means that even if a person is successful, society will notice his slightest mistake. And they'll like that.
So don't let criticism destroy your dreams. The only person who never makes a mistake is someone who does nothing."

Focus on what you DO want... NOT on what you don't.

Fear happens to have a relationship with faith. They are two sides of a coin. They do not exist together. Where there is fear, there is no faith. Which would YOU rather feed?

Remember the old saying... "90% of what you worry about never happens"? That phrase has been said for generations for a reason... and it's just as true today as it's ever been. Don't let fear stand in the way of achieving everything YOU want in this life. 👍
