The Arts Whistler Holiday Market is back for its 33rd year with two days of hand-made, hand-baked goodness on November 30 - December 1.

With over 65 curated vendors from the Sea to Sky and across BC, along with the young entrepreneurs of 2024, Whistler’s largest artisan market draws visitors from far and wide. Discover artisanal food and drink, fine art, handcrafted jewelry, ceramics, apparel, accessories and more.

This year, enjoy the return of the Whistler Children’s Chorus, performing a festive mix of songs from their upcoming Winter Holiday Concert alongside beloved holiday classics – singing along is encouraged! Plus, Bratz Biz’s ever-popular face painting and craft table will be back for even more family fun.

2024!!! What a year so far!! This year I really pushed to expand the brand even though this year has been super rough on many fronts, financially, personally and health wise.

After years of just having one main product, it was time to take a leap of faith and expand our range with all the scents that you have come to love.

9oz Candle
New white box for our signature ceramic jars. With retailers selling out over Christmas this is the perfect time for a packaging change.

6oz Glass Candle
With lots of requests for a glass candle, it is finally in the works. We decided to go for a 6oz to make our candles more accessible in price and offer a slightly different aesthetic.

Perfume Oils next release

Due to a little hiccup we are still working out some formulation issues. I was hoping to have these ready for Christmas but sometimes you got to step back and rework the problem to make it perfect.

Room Sprays
Another product I was pushing hard to have ready for Christmas which unfortunately will have to be released in 2025. Due to sourcing natural solubilizer, antibacterial products and ensuring the spray is mixed properly proved to be more difficult than anticipated. Then came designing a label to fall in line with the rest of series while trying to keep costs low, prove a little impossible given the available timeline.

Other products on the 2025 agenda
Candle refill packs in compostable packaging. I have searched for over a year to find a supplier and am happy to announce I am finally in the testing phase of this exciting new product.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE

As a small business currently run just by me, it is hard to get everything done during the holiday season.. So this year the online and wholesale store will be closed from Nov 2nd to Nov 9th while I attend Circle Craft market in Vancouver. Please get your orders in early this year for the holidays, as I will also be closing mid December for surgery and recovery for about 2- 4 weeks. Thank you for all your support over the past year!! I look forward to a new start in 2025 with new exciting products to be released. ❤️

Dear Hollow Tree Ecosystem, Please note as of Jan 1st 2025 our ceramic candle will be increasing from $48 to $50. This adjustment is due to the rising costs in making our signature candle jar as well as several price increases on our coconut wax.

We are looking into other sizes and vessels to expand the brand in 2025 and are committed to using sustainable packaging that will include a refill at home product in eco friendly compostable packaging.

Also in the works… I have been asked a few times for glass jars, so they are on the list! Working on bringing out 4 new scents in this style to start. Can you guess which scents… I will give you a guess we only make the in diffuser oils atm. Plus a very vanilla new scent is being created as we speak.

Another new product in the works. I have spent years and I mean years, trying to find compostable packaging for candle refills at home and I think it has finally happened!!! Gentler reminder to take care of yourself, 2024 has been a tough year for me personally and I know for lots of other friends too. With my recent health scare it became clear I have not put myself first in a long time, just work, work, work.

So this fall I ask you to take care of yourself, enjoy the slow season of fall, cozy up on the couch, read a book, connect with friends over a coffee, make yummy soups or go out in nature. Whatever soothes your soul, take pleasure in all the small moments that collectively create this life. ❤️❤️❤️

Final Days for Fireweed
As we move into the cooler months I am pouring the very last of the Fireweed candles. This scent is one of my favourite florals and I am extremely sad to see it go to the archive. If Fireweed has been one of your most cherished scents I would highly recommend stocking up, there is nothing worse than finding out that your signature scent has been discontinued.
