Day 7. Silk Petals.
We're still in May, I took so many photos as flowers started blooming. These are without a doubt in my top 5 for the year. I love these photos so much.

Day 1. Incandescent Abstraction.
Alright, I realized that I've mostly neglected this account so I had this idea to post all my favourite photos of the year over the final few weeks of 2022.
I'll go in the order they were taken so we can observe any improvements in quality or professionalism present. But also just because going in order makes sense.
Lastly, I'll lump together photos that are part of the same series just for the organization's sake.
These first few were taken almost a year ago. They're of a lamp lightbulb but I love how you would never guess that.

Day 2 of this 2022 photo recap thing. I definitely need to come up with a title for this. Titled Green Skies.
I didn't take anything good for a few months so these are from April. Certainly some of my favourites though.

Day 3 of this 2022 photo recap thinggg. Titled Petals in Sunlight.
These were also taken in April but closer to the end. I love the warm vintage colours and the subject matter of these photos. They probably wouldn't make a top 10 list but I'm happy with them nonetheless.

Day 4 of my 2022 photography recap. Magnolias.
These were taken in the first week of May. I love these flowers so much, just look at that colour.

Day 5 of my 2022 photography recap. Sundown.
Finally a sunset series! I'm sure this won't be the last one of the recap, I take so many photos of sunsets. These were taken towards the end of May and this was around the time I started taking a lot more photos.

Day 6. Cherry Blossoms.
We're still in May in the full bloom of the cherry blossoms. These flowers are nothing short of magical. This shoot was one of my favourites just because of how beautiful the trees are.

Day 9. Pink Petals. Taken on May 18th and 19th.
I'm not sure what kind of flowers these are but they're beautiful. And so are these photos if I do say so myself.

Day 8. Candytufts. Taken on May 18th.
My how I loathe writing these captions. Every time I reach this part of the daily recap posts I have no idea what to write. Anyway, these 2 are certainly some of my favourites of the year. Apparently, these flowers are called candytufts...which is cute.

Day 10. Changing Seasons. Taken on June 2nd.
Finally, we've made it to June! And with that, we have Japanese maple leaves instead of various flowers I don't know the names of.
This first photo had me astounded, the colour I pulled out of it after just a few edits was simply magnificent. It's still one of my favourite photos I've ever taken.

Day 11. Daisies. Taken on June 2nd.
Apologies for the late post (like anybody really cares). It's Christmas, what can you expect?
Apparently June 2nd was a big shoot day. The Japanese maple tree shoot and now daisies! Daisies are my favourite flower and it might be partly because of these photos haha. I'm very happy with them.

Day 12. Wildflowers. Taken on June 4th.
Oh look, more flowers I don't the names of. I do know that I love these photos though. They were taken on one of the few hikes I went on this year. Maybe I should hike more.

Day 13. Sunflower Wannabes. Taken on June 20th.
Yet again I don't know what kind of flowers these are but they are certainly pretty. I love the orange that comes through with just a little lowering of the brightness.
I'm pretty sure we're going to run out of days to showcase all of this year's photos, so I'm thinking I'm gonna go into January a little bit just so we can see them all.

Day 14. Black and White Daisies. Taken on June 28th and July 1st.
More daisies! What can I say? They're my favourite haha. I do love these photos especially though. I believe the first 2 were taken on another hike.

Day 15. Printer Plumes. Taken on July 25th.
Okay I'll be honest these weren't taken with my phone, or a camera at all. They were taken on the scanner feature of an Epson printer haha. It was certainly an experiment but I think it worked pretty well!

Day 16. Lake at Dusk. Taken on July 26th.
For a lake that is so incredibly polluted, Lake Ontario sure does look good at sunset. To be fair, what doesn't look good at sunset?

Day 17. Electricity. Taken on July 26th.
Woah it's the first photo that isn't part of a series. I didn't love the other photos I took alongside this one, but I think that helps it stand out as it is a personal favourite of mine.

Day 19. Bloom. Taken on July 31st.
Late again, apologies! But we're back to the series. These photos are absolutely in my top 10 for the year. I don't know what it is about them, there's just something magical about them. I love the colour and the subject matter.

Day 20. Roses. Taken on August 10th.
This is by far one of my favourite series of the year. I wouldn't necessarily rank any single photo in my top 10, but as a series it's up there for sure.

Day 21. Toronto. Taken on June 17th and August 27th.
We're approaching the end of this recap. I planned out the rest of the days last night and we've only got about 6 days to go!

Day 22. Sunflowers. Taken on August 29th and 31st.
DEFINITELY A TOP 5. The first photo might even be top 3. I still can't believe the amount of detail I got out of my $130 Android phone camera 😂

Day 23. Telephone post flowers. Taken across September 6th, 8th and 9th.
This is another personal favourite primarily for the colours and the subject. But even the focus and depth of field were masterfully accomplished if I do say so myself.

Day 24. Gelato Sunset. Taken on October 22nd.
I love how these photos almost look like they were shot on film, that vintage aesthetic is so pretty.
We've only got 3 more days of this recap, but I think these last few are some of the best.

Day 26. Autumn Leaves. Taken across October 11th, 14th, 22nd, and November 7th.
Second last day! And I think tomorrow's is one of the best of the whole recap.
These photos were pretty much the only decent photos I took throughout autumn - which explains why there are 4 different dates haha. But I still love these photos.

Day 25. Out in the Fog. Taken on November 3rd.
Fog is absolutely my favourite...weather condition? I just love the mood and atmosphere it comes with; for both photography and just living in.

Honourable Mentions. Typically I'd write the dates the photos were captured, but I don't feel like finding 7 different dates.
Honestly, I think some of these deserved to make the list but I'd have rathered they be part of series. So here they are now, let me know which is your favourite.
I think that's finally officially it for the 2022 recap. No more of this catch-up business it's time to post new stuff!
