Did you know there are different types of amethyst, not just the classic deep purple but also chevron amethyst, trapiche amethyst, moon amethyst and more?

💜🤍Chevron amethyst has a natural chevron or dogtooth pattern of purple amethyst and white quartz.

💜Trapiche amethyst features a natural windmill-like pattern named after the trapiche (a type of milling wheel used to process cane sugar). The geological conditions necessary to create trapiche gems are highly uncommon making them some of the rarest specimens on Earth.

Have you seen or heard of Moldavite before? 💚

Moldavite is a tektite; it is a rare olive green substance that is glass-like in appearance. A tektite is formed when a meteorite hits the earth and large amounts of sand and debris are thrown high into orbit in the stratosphere. This material then re-enters the atmosphere and falls back to the earth. As it re-enters, it is subjected to high temperatures. A glasslike material is formed from the falling debris that is called a tektite.

Moldavite is a form of tektite, it gets its name from the area in Moldavia where it is found. Originally found in the Moldau River in Czechoslovakia, most Moldavite is currently being mined in the Czech Republic.

Moldavite is said to be a stone of spiritual and personal positive transformation and has gained high popularity thanks to these healing properties.

A popular stone/substance for gifting in the Lunar New Year, amber is a rare and unusual substance; it is a fossilized tree resin or sap. If a tree were wounded it would produce healing resin or sap in great quantities. The pinus succinfera or Amber Pine as it was more commonly called was one of these trees. Through the passage of time this sap hardened and fossilized.
Our amber is from Poland and is around 30 million to 60 million years old.

Amber may be found in several different colours, including creamy white-yellows (butterscotch), green, lemon (yellow), cherry (red), and orange/ browns called cognac.
