We’ve changed the rules this time around and here’s how it works:

Grab your ticket ($20) 💵 and bring in your pre-loved pieces of clothing into the shop by 6pm Wed June 26. The bell will ring at 6:30pm 🔔.

Refresh your closet with other customers by swapping out styles, colours and sizes that you may still love, but don’t quite fit in your current lifestyle.👚👖👗

You’ll get 1 ticket for each item you bring in which is valid for any other 1 item. 🎟️ If any of your pieces are left, you can choose to bring them home or leave them and we’ll be donating to a local women’s cause. 🌸

Kristyn, Mavis and Lianne will be the hostesses with the mostest and serving up beverages, nibbles, and as a special little treat, $20 off any new arrivals you may have had your eye on. RSVP ⬆️.

GIDGET SHORTS // This week’s launch is pretty timely given the temperatures we’re about to get in Ontario 🥵☀️

We’re welcoming back 2 styles of jean shorts to the shop from our favourite denim brand, K*T. Why we 💙 these:

💙 They are as stretchy and comfy, like we expect from K*T
💙 A mid-rise (9 1/4”) with a 4 1/4” inseam, thank you very much! We don’t need no short shorts around here.
💙 The Gidget has a 22” straight leg opening which is more of a straighter fit
💙 No holes, just a nice light blue wash with a frayed hem

This week’s new arrival launch has 1 piece and 1 piece only, but we’re not sad about it because it’s a gem.

We 💙 a good third piece and believe that every woman should have a denim jacket, or two 😉 in her closet.

Introducing the boyfriend fit jacket that you can pair with dresses, rompers, denim, and layer over sweatshirts. The list goes on. She even comes with do it yourself patches if you’re feeling crafty. ☮️

Well what a wild ride all of this is! 🎢

We just found out we were voted “Silver” for Best Boutiques in Oshawa, just days after announcing that we’re looking for someone to take over our lease.

We’ve never won one of these community votes before so THANK YOU for voting and making the memories of our beautiful Oshawa space that much sweeter. 🍭

We’re continuing with regular store hours for June and we can’t wait to see you at our clothing swap on the 26th. 🤗

SMITHERY SWAPS AGAIN // We’re back at it Wed June 26th at 6pm. 👗 We were planning to wait for the fall, but so many of you showed interest as you swap out your closets for the season, so here we go!

RESTOCKED // The / Smithery gold long pendant collab is back! As summer slowly arrives, we often get asked how do you create outfits when it’s too hot for a jacket?

The easiest (and most air conditioned 😂) way we know how is by adding a long pendant.

PS - the silver is a wee bit delayed as we wait for the chain to come back in stock.

Guess what? This is going to be our last month of Wed-Sat open shop hours. 🥺 With summer arriving and Mavis transitioning out of Smithery, we’ve decided to significantly reduce our open hours as we search for a new owner and lease out our space. Stay tuned for how the space will operate starting in July!

ROXANNA // What we like to call, our “adult body suit”, is back in black. What makes it so good for us?

The Purple Floral Dress // We love the stretchy ruching at the top for a more fitted look and that v-neckline at the back that is also bra-friendly. Because you know us! We’re wearing bras around here. 😂

Light Weight Sweater // The photos don’t do this one justice. This stripped sweater pops, is perfect for the weather and is going to look so good with whites and denims this summer☀️

RACHAEL // This “mom” jean great for all body shapes is back in white. And if you own a pair of white denim from K*T then you know that they aren’t like any other white denim. We’ll prove it to you in stories this week 😉.

These are super stretchy with 3% spandex (the highest amount of stretch we recommend), 26 1/2” cropped, raw edge inseam and a 10 1/2” high rise.

CATHERINE // This longtime “girlfriend” style has been upgraded for 2024 with a more slimmed down tailored fit from previous versions.

These are super soft with the sweet spot of 2% spandex, 25 1/4” cropped inseam and a 10 1/4” high rise. These are the jeans you’re going to be reaching for every day.

RE-LAUNCH // Now that we’ve introduced our Wed launches and it’s officially May, the month where temps start rising (right?! 🙄☀️), we thought let’s re-launch the spring pieces that are in the shop (and coming to Collingwood on Sat). Remind ourselves that soon…soon we’ll be pulling out dresses, tanks, sandals…and jackets will be put away. 🤞
