This includes using a special air knife technology in their juicing processes to significantly reduce water usage with water-efficient technology, donating fruit pumice leftover from juicing to local farms for cattle feed to prevent waste, and ensuring all products are packaged in recyclable material. Farming Karma also prioritizes working with local vendors, in order to lessen their environmental impact. Their emphasis on environmental sustainability aligns closely with our theme for NTE West to think globally, act locally, and live sustainably. Farming Karma's biggest accomplishments include winning Sobey’s Innovative Product of the Year award and supporting the Do Good Initiative to support local education institutes and non-profits, strengthening community ties.
