Grateful: Just replied to FOUR of our latest 5-star reviews and I have to say we are always SO gratified and happy to offer an increasingly rare dining experience in these increasingly *corporate times. Yes, it's just a Diner, but it's family-owned and a place where the locally-sourced potatoes come in the back door as potatoes.. who knew!! Soups, made in-house and our burgers are made here.. by hand, with our own recipe. So just a shout-out for supporting a local business in these very trying times for restauranteurs.. we couldn't do it without all of you! Best to our friends, neighbours, regulars and new customers in this awesome New Year!

The BAD MOON RIDERS are coming to Donegals Irish House in North Surrey this Saturday November 12th! Our deepest condolences to Tom Saunders and the whole wonderful Saunders family in their loss of Marilyn. The Saunders family owned our beloved restaurant in the 60's (operating as Saunders Grill) and we are lucky to be able to share the experience of a small-town diner and all the wonderful people who support it, just like Marilyn and her family did years before us. In tribute, here is a photo of a photo of her taken in the exact same spot in 1963 with Lora, Marilyn's Mom. If you have any old photos or comments or remembrances of Marilyn or the Saunders family, we'd love if you can share them as a way to help remember her.
