Our Story
Mental Health Matters is a group whose mission is to create a safe, fear-free, non-judgmental space where they can talk to each other forming bonds with new peers and friends.
With technology growing it makes face-to-face interactions more complicated and harder to communicate with one another. Our group starts small, however as we progress, we plan to gather as many volunteers as possible to form an activity and promote it across the community.
Mental Health Matters was created and founded by four liberal arts students with a passion to fill the existing gaps in our community surrounding mental health support. Our vision is to further assist the city of Windsor to fill the gaps in youth mental health care and to provide support in any way we can.
