It is with great regret that the DWBIA announces the cancellation of the Downtown Windsor Farmers’ Market, scheduled to take place tomorrow, Saturday, June 29, between 9am and 2pm.
This difficult decision is being made in response to the severe lightning and thunderstorm warnings issued by local weather authorities, prioritizing the safety and well-being of all visitors, vendors, volunteers, and staff.
The DWBIA thanks the community for their understanding and continued support. We look forward to seeing you at the Downtown Windsor Farmers’ Market next Saturday and hope that visitors take this opportunity to explore and support our wonderful local businesses in the meantime.
It was a pleasure to have NDP Leader Marit Stiles and MPP Lisa Gretzky at the Mission last week to learn about the work we do, the impact we make on our community and our successes and struggles! Thank you for your time, compassion and leadership, we appreciate all you are doing for our community and beyond 🙏🏽
Come together with the Downtown Mission and our community partners for a fantastic day of fun, food, and activities on July 19th, 2024! This event is for area residents to come and learn about programs and services that the Downtown Mission as well as our Community Partners provide.
Enjoy delicious BBQ, exciting games, and engaging activities while learning about our services. Don't miss out on all the fun – we can't wait to see you there!

"I was very nervous and I wanted my mom to email my teacher," Paxton says. But she encouraged him to talk to his teacher and principal himself. "I knew I had to be a leader," he explains....
