Presenting: The Eclipse line!! This is the line I feel the most creative when doing. These are all hand cut pieces of upcycled leather, in a deep chocolate brown. They are layered with carefully placed vintage text and all of the beads and shells that I use for textural accents are upcycled vintage pieces of jewlery that have received a second life! These are beautiful one of a kind pieces that make you feel uniquely beautiful every single time you wear them!

Next up a design I totally fell in love with that I longingly call Folk Fest. As I was making these earring and looking at the colours and patterns, it reminded me of looking out over the crowd from the main stage as dusk is falling and seeing so many people dancing and moving in a beautiful kaleidoscope of colour and movement in the setting sun. I am longing for the next Winnipeg Folk Fest. ❤🌈

The Process: A friend pointed out to me recently that there are actually a lot of steps to creating a pair of earrings. I knew this, but had not thought about it in a while! So here are a few steps of what it takes to put the 'Tin' in Tin Pan Alley!

It's been a moment, but it is because I have been building up some fabulous new stock! First up: Custom made earring frames! Multiple options shapes and colours! Starting at $20.00. I enjoy making jewlery so much, I needed places to display the art, and though jewlery lovers like me, might need the same thing!

Red, Funky and Fierce! These hand-cut tin earrings are just in time for a red themed holiday! I dont know about you, I love the decor and sentiments at this time, but I am not a big heart wearer. But give me something red or pink, I love to wear it and participate in the spirit of Valentines! All different kinds of love need to be celebrated. I love antiquing, thrifting and garage sales! There is always so many interesting stories that go along with items you find.

There is nothing like a few rainbows to make the day wonderful! This is my favourite glass and shell hanging decor yet. It's about 3.5 feet long and at the end is a vintage crystal from a chandalier! Ot catches the light and throws tiny rainbows around the room! A perfect gift for someone that has everything!

Why Tin Pan Alley? Well a good friend of mine started upcycling vintage tins and tins with interesting patterns into jewlery. We did this for fun, laughter and mental health. It gave me to confidance and inspiration to try different mediums and to look for beauty in everyday objects.
These earrings are from my favorite vintage tin so far. Each is cut by hand and totally unique. There isnt another pair like this that I have made. Backing the beautiful design is some upcycled green leather.

Maybe you have a friend or family that's a little harder to buy for. Or perhaps they like things a little vintage or a little rustic.
This line of earrings, are all individually cut, and assembled. Which give them unique folk art characteristics.

These two pairs of earrings are 2.5 pinches long, for their longest side.
The dental theme is backed by green upcycled leather and assembled with hypo allergenic finishings.
The Apiculture earrings are backed with upcycled red leather.

Wool art for this chilly time of year!
Today's items are a couple of wool wreaths, that are about 2 feet long. Perfect for your front door or moody bedroom vibes.
One is a black color that is marbled with a little bit for grey, and some purple and teal highlights.
Two is a little teal/purple/maroon number.

Welcome to Tin Pan Alley!
I hope that you find a handmade, upcycled, recycled, one of a kind item that you can love!

I decided to start selling the items that I make for a few reasons. I love handmade, local items. I am an avid craft fair attendee and regularly explore the various farmers markets in and around Winnipeg. I am so inspired by all the hard work and creativity that I find, I wanted to join this amazing community of artisans.
Also it makes the soul happy to create something that means something to you, and hopefully others. Like sharing a little piece of yourself in each creation.
The best places to shop on vacation? Seek out local artisans!! You always find unique items that you won't find at home!
Also there is only so much you can gift your family and friends before they awkwardly have to ask you to "please for the love of God stop". Okay none of my friends or family have said this. But it is the nightmare I imagine!

I make every piece by hand often with the help of my wonderfully supportive husband and the ingenious inspiration of friends and family!! A big thank you to you all!

I will attempt to update this page daily as more items are available, but I am happily surprised that I have already sold so many items before I managed to get this page up and running!
