2 Dads Raising 2

A little tobogganing on the Seine River. After several days of fighting a bug… it was nice to get some fresh air.

Well… this was the best we could do for a Valentine picture. Between them fighting over who was going to stand where, “don’t touch me” and Daddy pleading “it’s Valentine’s Day… can you not fight for 1 minute so I can take a nice picture” and Dad saying “Are you really still trying to do this?”… this was our best shot.

We made it to Friday! Last night Lily wanted her foam bendy rollers in so we did that… and she was feeling herself this morning!! Conor asked for one too so he has a bit of a bang wave today. Daddy salon is very busy.

Happy birthday to this husband, partner of 20 years, Dad of two, and all round stand up guy. We love you and wish you everything in the year to come!!

The benefit of having a community centre across the street… we don’t have to go far for the kids to find a snow hill.

3 hours of time on a Saturday morning, watching gymnastics.. always a great time for self care by listening to podcasts and knitting. 🧶

Ok everything wrapped, and all the gymnastics 🤸‍♂️ equipment built. Ready to go!

The children are nestled all snug in their beds… while Daddy is working like a fiend wrapping and making Santa happen.

Took the kids for a sleigh ride and a bonfire today. It was the perfect day for it. Felt very festive.

Some gingerbread house decorating today, and tonight the elves have done a costume change and are playing in the snow.

Easy night last night. The elves got in Daddy’s yarn 🧶

Day 2- The arrival of Elf on the Shelf cereal. Also the relief knowing the Christmas list Conor left Nick and Marshmallow to take back to Santa, matches what we got him for Christmas!

Don’t forget these a-holes come back tonight! First night we are taking it easy with a simple welcome back and advent chocolate calendars

I went to the dermatologist this morning. She said my skin is nice and asked what routine I used. I said “The Ordinary”. She basically looked at me like Anna Delvey.

Checked out the Santa Claus Parade tonight. Perfect evening for it!

Lily requested photos be taken of her last night after bath and books. Guess she felt cute… won’t delete.

Back in the gym tonight for 3 hours, and going to multi task with a virtual Parent Advisory Council meeting tonight for Conor’s Before and After Care.

So it’s official.. Co or made the competitive gymnastics team. So now we are going to be in the gym 6 hours per week. Here we are at the gym at before 8:30 am! He loves it.

Conor got scouted and assessed today to join the competitive gymnastics team. It is invite only, and I guess they identified he has a natural talent. So it looks like we’ll be spending lots of time in the gym.

It was a busy Saturday.. some more riding pics and then we were off to gymnastics for a couple hours.

A beautiful day for some riding and time at a farm.

Thanksgiving weekend at Nana and Papa’s. Visiting family and having a good time.

And just like that.. our province is back to NDP. 😍

Election day school in-services mean we schedule our eye Dr. Appointments and our dental cleanings and check-ups . Daddy knows how to make in-service days fun! 😂😂

Conor had his birthday party today They did an incredible 1 hour aerial silks class, followed by cake pizza etc. So much fun, and the instructors were fantastic with the kids.

Happy 7th birthday to the most amazing, caring, sensitive and creative boy. Our lives changed forever when we because your parents. We love you more than any words could express. You will do great things Conor.

A day late to the party. Happy Daughters day to this incredible spit fire. You make me laugh everyday, and you are such an old soul. Love you to the end of the universe!
