What seeds are you planting today to nurture your business tomorrow? 🌱
Maybe it’s:
🌻 tending to your knowledge and upgrading your skills or
🌻 cultivating connections with clients, suppliers and fellow businesses or
🌻 pruning your to-do list by delegating tasks that distract from your core vision to experienced professionals (such as bookkeeping, maybe? 😉)
Whatever it is, keep planting those seeds of growth, because every effort today blooms into success tomorrow ✨
Happy Monday!

Valentines Day may be long over, but we’re still feelin’ all the love over here - client love, that is 🥰
And it has us *leaping* with joy! (See what we did there? 😉 Because … leap year? … never mind 😅)
We love what we do and we hope it shows in our service.
We are so thankful for kind words like this from CEOs, founders and small business owners like Cristina - it lets us (and others) know we’re on the right track!
-
Did we just age ourselves with this nod to an early 90’s tune? 🤔 Probably.
But ICYMI: it’s heeeeere 👀
The CRA opened up NETFILE earlier this week, marking the official start of *drumroll* TAX SEASON!
So should you file *right now*?
The answer: it depends.
Filing taxes early means
👉🏽 you get your refund quicker
👉🏽 you have more time to plan ahead and
👉🏽 your risk of identity theft is reduced
BUT it might be better to wait if
👉🏽 your taxes are complicated
👉🏽 you're waiting on documents or
👉🏽 there have been recent tax changes
In any case, when in doubt, ask a pro (we know a few!)
-
Not us in your feed talking nerdy to you 👀🤓
If these accounting-related Valentine’s Day puns don’t win you over, then maybe our decades of experience working alongside businesses just like yours will.
We’re here to satisfy your bookkeeping, payroll and tax needs - puns may or may not be included.
Happy Valentine’s Day from the Cayde Accounting and Tax crew!

Ahh, it’s that time of year again! 🥰 Hope you love a good date as much as we do! 😉

We’re talking about tax season and the important deadlines that come with it!
Mark your calendars so you don’t forget!

Note to self: make notes … to self … 📝
After any business-related meals or entertainment, scribble a quick note on the back of your receipt about who you met with and why.
It'll save you from wracking your brain later on when you're reconciling your expenses.
Bonus note to self: You can deduct 50 percent of your total meal and entertainment expenses for business purposes, so hold on to allllll the receipts!
