Be careful what kind of project you decide to do yourself. This recent job we did is proof that hiring the right painter is worth it!

The customer owns a condo in the exchange and was shocked to see the state the tenant had left it in (swipe to the end for the before pics 😲). They decided to do it themselves in an attempt to save money.

Unfortunately, despite their best effort, they failed to recognize what product would work to block out the graffiti and overall underestimated the time needed to fully re paint a condo.

That's when we stepped in, took over the Project, gave them a super deal, and discount on the paint to help out with the situation they found themselves in (they did not take any deposit from the tenant at move in).

We stain blocked the graffiti, fixed the DIY patch work, and painted all of the baseboards, doors, frames, jams, and walls.

The paint is no longer an issue, and they can continue to focus their time on cleaning up and selling the home.

Stucco Painting.

Why?

Painting Stucco is a great way to change the color of your home to add contrast or give the home a new feel. Not only does it look great, but elastomeric stucco paint is also designed to repel water and other elements to protect the stucco. For this project we used a conditioner to block the chalk on the stucco. Then we applied 2 coats of Loxon XP in 'Graphic Charcoal'.

Another satisfied customer and another job well done!

The story here was fixing a bad paint job. The paint was peeling off in big strips. A clear sign that the paint did not adhere to the wood correctly.

Probably because a latex paint was applied directly over wood siding with no primer. Latex paint is thick and is meant to bind to a firm base. Wood is porous, and so the latex paint never pe*****ted the fibers of the wood. It was more so just sitting on top. Moisture and heat then pe*****te behind the paint film, and it peels off with ease.

Oil primer is thin and penetrating. It actually pe*****tes the wood fibers and binds with the wood. Once the wood was sealed, we applied 2 coats of Duration Exterior Satin. The best exterior paint On the market.

Our client won't need to worry about the paint any longer. They just wish they had called Prodigy Painting the first time around. Don't make the same mistake! Hire a pro. You won't regret it!

We helped our client refresh the front, sides, and back of the property! The main focus was the worn-out deck, which needed repairs to the treads and kick. It's not a problem for us! We repaired the damaged areas, and after priming, we finished the porch with SW Porch and Floor Enamel (French Roast).

We recently helped a family in Winnipeg transform their family living space. We stripped the old wallpaper and replaced it with a bold color from Benjamin Moore called 'Gentleman's Gray'. The High-quality paint we used throughout the project made for some stunning results. They were very pleased with our work and they now love living in their home even more! We also painted all of the Baseboards , Doors and Walls upstairs. The entrance was probably the most fun to transform, working around a beautiful hand made glass art pane, the fresh paint job makes it all stand out. Our last project of the exterior season is in the books! We helped a young family turn their worn down exterior into a modern masterpiece! They are investing in their property by fixing up the house, and they chose our company to tackle the exterior paint. The Blue/ Grey stucco and Black foundation go together very well, and make the windows stand out. Check the before and after's to get a true feel of the amazing change that occurred. Our second last exterior of the Summer is in the books. This project was a complete color change for the home owner. Taking her old Brown trim and Creme Soffit look and modernizing it with a Grey, black and white theme. We painted the Soffits, Eaves, Fascia, Windows and doors around the entire house. The trim color is 'Roycroft Pewter' in Super Paint by sherwin williams. It covered up the brown with no problem and it just looks great. We were happy to serve these fine folks, and we wish them the best.
