Tip of the day! When you see LO displayed on your heater, the heater has sensed low flow and will not allow to heat. Always a good idea to check your skimmer and pump baskets for any debris and make sure we are cleaning them as needed.. especially with our recent weather we've been having.

Some inground pools have a sump pit to help collect ground water surrounding pool preventing possible damages. If you have one, insure that sump pump is plugged into the installed outlet and that pump is working. In this case, pump was plugged in but no power at the outlet.

Winter storm watch issued. Should you be worried about your hot tub? We hear you. Hot tubs are well insulated and what we call, "ready all," so you shouldn't have to worry too much. Some key helpful reminders are to check your hot tub insuring your spa is still circulating and heating, water temp is, and or nearing the heater setpoint, ensure no error codes are present (usually found on main screen), check for proper water levels, and make sure your spa filters are in good condition. Did you know? A dirty filter can stop your spa from heating. You can run your spa without spa filter(s) up to 24hr just as long as your water is clear and no visible debris is found floating in your spa. That will give you time to clean your spa filter if you don't have a secondary filter for backup. Stay safe and think positive. Warmer weather is on it's way!
