Closing Off a Window behind the Fridge was the solution to making this Kitchen Possible. We were then able to make the walkways at allow for the classic "L shape" with Island.

I received a call to go look at a property from one of our customers because the cabinets they had purchased from a different supplier needed some repairs...

Melamine cabinets may not be the best choice for rental properties for several reasons:

1. Durability Concerns: Melamine cabinets are less durable than some other materials, such as solid wood or plywood. They are more prone to damage from moisture, impact, and wear and tear. In a rental property, where tenants may not treat the cabinets as carefully as homeowners, this can lead to frequent repairs or replacements, increasing maintenance costs.

2. Difficulty in Repairs: Repairing damaged melamine cabinets can be challenging and may require replacing entire cabinet doors or panels, which can be costly and time-consuming for landlords.

3. Aesthetic Issues: Melamine cabinets may not hold up well over time in a rental property, leading to a worn or dated appearance. This can make the property less appealing to potential tenants and may result in lower rental income.

Thermofoil cabinets can have durability issues, which may make them a less suitable choice for rental properties for several reasons:

1. **Moisture Sensitivity:** Thermofoil cabinets are vulnerable to moisture. In humid environments or areas prone to water exposure, the thermofoil can peel or delaminate, leading to a deteriorated appearance.

2. **Heat Sensitivity:** They can also be sensitive to heat. Prolonged exposure to high temperatures, such as from stovetops or ovens, may cause the thermofoil to warp or discolor.

3. **Limited Repair Options:** When damaged, thermofoil cabinets are challenging to repair. Unlike wood cabinets that can be sanded, refinished, or painted, thermofoil doesn't offer easy repair options, often necessitating complete replacement.

For rental properties, it's often advisable to consider more durable and easily maintainable cabinet materials like solid wood or plywood, These materials can withstand the rigors of rental use and offer better long-term value.
