Say hello to our new Project Manager, Diego Collantes Loo!

Diego joined the team in April after graduating from his Project Management program at PACE - University of Winnipeg. He’s a seasoned marketeer and has run exciting projects for clients like Nestle and Honda in his homeland, Peru.

Now, he is enjoying the next stage in his professional journey and seeing all that Winnipeg has to offer, starting with boxing classes at the Pan Am Boxing Club, all while trying to figure out how to fix the bald spots in his backyard.

With that being said, Happy Father’s Day to all the amazing fathers out there whose wisdom, guidance, and love lead us every day and make the world a brighter place.

We're wrapping up the month with May's design for the number 5!

Letting her creativity take free rein, our designer used colour, pattern, and bold fillings to create 3 complimentary designs, both playful and balanced.

🌐✨ Today marks Global Accessibility Awareness Day, so let's shed some light on the necessity and impact of accessible design in both our work and society.

The bottom line is accessibility transcends compliance. It's a commitment to elevating services and fulfilling the ideals that led to us choosing this profession—enhancing lives and driving organizational excellence.

Moreover, we believe in the power of inclusive design to benefit everyone. Whether temporary or permanent, more likely than not, we're all going to need accessible accommodations at some point in our lives. Integrating small yet significant changes during development can make a huge difference in user experiences for everyone and foster a sense of community and care.

Ultimately, accessibility is about looking out for one another! So, let's practice making accessibility a daily priority to overcome barriers, empower users, and shape a more inclusive future.

Today is Mother's Day, a special occasion to appreciate and celebrate all moms out there doing one of the hardest jobs and doing it brilliantly day in and day out.

Last month, we celebrated the retirement of one of our team members — our amazing bookkeeper, Shannon (and her mischievous sweetheart of a dog, Callie)!

She's dedicated 18 years to our agency, working hard to ensure everything ran smoothly and that our Tuesdays were always a little brighter with her presence.

Shannon, your dedication, kindness, laughter, and so much more will be deeply missed. As you start on this new chapter, remember that our doors are always open for a visit, and you always have a place with us.

Happy Valentine's Day from the Honest team.

Since it's a new year, we're changing things up a bit and going in a new direction with our 2024 Type Tuesdays. We're putting letters on the back burner and bringing some new life to numbers!

Embracing the nostalgia of the past and the aesthetic appeal of retro, our designer used a bitmap effect to kick off the year with this vibrant design of the number 1!

One of our designers introduced the team to one of her favourite holiday festivities from her childhood in France — the Galette des Rois.

To share a bit with you, we learnt that the pastry marks the celebration of Epiphany, symbolizing the arrival of the Three Wise Men to Bethlehem (though its origins go even further, dating back to ancient Roman traditions that commemorated the winter solstice).

Tradition is to hide a charm or figurine inside the pastry (in ancient times, they would hide a dry bean), and the person who discovers this charm in their slice is crowned king or queen and destined for a year of good fortune. The custom involves dividing the pie equally among everyone at the table, and the youngest, in our case, Bria, would crawl beneath and announce who got which slice to ensure no cheating and a little bit of whimsy!

Good times all around, especially for Colin, our crowned king.
