Summer camp is a time for fun with new friends. At MTYP, our camps are full of opportunities to use your imagination, get into character, create theatre and film, and broaden your horizons. There are nine-weeks of themed summer programming for ages 5-18. A Blast from the Past July 2-5 (four day camp) Whodunit? July 8-12 Celebrate our Remarkable Planet July 15-19 The Great MTYP Bake-Off July 22-26 Be an Olympian July 29-August 2 Pajama Week August 6-9 (four day camp) Mojo Dojo Casa House August 12-16 Hocus Pocus August 19-23 Anti-Heroes August 26-30 Classes run from 9:00 am β 4:00 pm daily. Student drop-off begins at 8:30 am and pick-up goes until 4:30 pm. Campers are asked to bring their own nut-free lunches, snacks, and drinks to get them through the day. The Pa'akai We Bring opens TONIGHT at MTYP π They've been performing for school audiences the last two days. One teacher commented: "We thought it was AMAZING. The play follows multiple generations of salt farmers on Kauai, blending ancient stories, hula, original live music, and audience participation. The Pa'akai We Bring brings Native Hawaiian reconciliation to Treaty 1 Territory. Best enjoyed by Ages 8+, the show runs April 26-May 5 on the Mainstage! Happy World Day of Theatre for Children and Young People π©· This video was taken just about an hour ago in our theatre, where Arch8 Productions performed Tetris and delighted a room of 300 students. They also invited everyone to play; a value we hold dear to our hearts. Nothing sums up this day better than the screams of delight and laughter you'll hear in this video.
