I had the pleasure of working with the most talented wildlife & safari photographer on this weeks Squarespace Design Day. She is a fantastic wildlife and safari photographer!

On our day together I was able to get many pages on her website designed and set up her new print shop. Watch out for her site launch and prints available for purchase!

Last weeks Squarespace Design Day was for a therapist who wanted all the coastal vibes. We updated a gorgeous template by the talented Go Bloom Creative (https://www.gobloomcreative.com) with coastal colors, graphics and images and updated all the copy. We showcased her 2 therapy services and designed a Home page, About and Contact page all in a day.

This therapist just needed some help and motivation in getting her website template updated and the Design Day was the perfect solution for her.

Finishing up the week by showing this weeks Squarespace Design Day website. This website was created in just one day for an executive coach and consultant. He went from never having a website to an instant website in just one day!

Finishing off the year with 2 recent Squarespace Design Day before and afters.

In this case we have 2 very different industries and styles: the first one is for a coach who I upgraded from Squarespace 7.0 to 7.1. She did all the amazing work of rebranding and rewriting her copy to really be able to create a beautiful and functional website.

The second example is for a parcel service business with a very large site. They are just getting going so they enlisted my services to get them started with a design direction and with reusable pages and sections they can use as they build out all of their pages.

Squarespace recently launched an Asset Library for images and videos which makes it so easy to streamline our image organization. I am finding that many of my web design clients don't even know this feature exists and how helpful it is.

I recently had the pleasure to work with Thea on 2 different websites with my Squarespace Design Day service.

The first site we did was for her personal site (www.theatullmanmoore.com) where she showcases her amazing singing voice for hire as well as her voice lesson offerings. The second site is for the musical organization she is involved with for performances called Baltimore Musicales (www.baltimoremusicales.com).

It's been a long while since I posted any of my business work on here! Well I am back :)... Featuring a recent website designed in one day for a boutique Medical Spa. On my Design Day service I work with clients
to design the desktop version collaboratively and then spend time the day after designing for mobile and testing to make sure it looks good on different devices.

Also included are custom tutorial videos so the client is totally able to update their own website. Cause no one needs a website that they can't update!!

This site was for a brand new business so the website was created from scratch in one day, but I also work on existing sites to update them and can help move clients from Squarespace 7.0 to 7.1.

There is an all new editing experience available on Squarespace 7.1 sites now. This is truly a "drag and drop" experience to create flexible layouts without having to use as much code.

Apparently I don't always think to share new features that I notice in Squarespace that are amazing so I am fixing that today ☺️.

A while ago Squarespace introduced a new "list" section that not only allows us to create column layouts easily, but we can even make them the same height so that they line up beautifully no matter how much content is in the column!! AMAZING!!!!

I have been remiss in sharing my web design work lately. Thanks for the prompt !

I had the pleasure to work with Mandy for the 3rd time on a redesign of her site as she pivoted her business. We used the opportunity to move her over to the new platform on Squarespace (which is AMAZING to work with!).

Mandy is honestly on of my favorite people in the world to work with - always a pleasure - so this project was so fun for me. It's fun to see how Squarespace can really work for a blog site as well!

Is Squarespace a good choice for a blog site? That is a question I see regularly in blogging groups. The short answer is ... it depends on your needs.

Squarespace is easy to use and intuitive but also has some limitations.

This weeks Squarespace Design Day involved moving an artist over from a very old 7.0 template to a new Squarespace 7.1 site. We streamlined his website and took advantage of the new portfolio pages on the 7.1 platform to showcase his visuals in a striking way.

The vertical navigation also allows his work to be center stage without overlapping and competing with it.
