From Struggle to Smile: A Journey to Renewed Confidence! 😊🦷

Our recent insertion appointment marked a turning point for our patient, who battled with loose, ill-fitting dentures, leading to eating difficulties and sore spots.

Our solution - A carefully crafted plan involving the placement of 5-6 implants in both arches, providing stability and comfort. These implants, adorned with fixed dentures from Adamo Lab using Phonares 2 by Ivoclar, offer a glimpse into a future of seamless function and aesthetics.

The road ahead - Two months of transitional denture wear to acclimate the patient to improved oral hygiene, speech, and chewing habits. With maintenance as simple as brushing, water flossing, and using a water pick, we're empowering our patient on the path to lasting wellness.

Stay tuned for updates as we embark on a journey spanning up to a year, culminating in the final prosthetics. If all goes well, these transitional dentures will pave the way for the exciting transition to zirconia hybrids made by Nexus IOS.

The patient came in concerned as they frequently chipped the incisal edge of the upper right incisor. The fractured portion was repaired using a minimally invasive direct composite filling materials coupled with ideal tooth preparation design and material selection for this case. This is commonly referred to as the Layering Technique, and the patient was thrilled with the outcome.

Commonly, many patients look to a short term solution in the form of composite build-ups, but they can also chip and become discolored overtime. 👑🦷 Royal College of Dentists of Canada: Prosthodontic Fellowship Examinations - Days 1 and 2. 🌟🏆 Intense and globally renowned, setting the highest examination standards! 🌎 Examiners all set to begin the day! 💪

A few months back, the patient experienced a sports injury and fractured their central incisor severely. The patient tried to repair it at other practices a few times with composite fillings, but it continued to break periodically. Post consultation, we outfitted the patient with a porcelain veneer to prevent future chipping and any further fracturing. The patient was thrilled with the outcome.

The patient experienced a slip-and-fall accident and unfortunately, fractured and lost some of her front teeth as a result. To help her regain her smile, we replaced the broken and missing front teeth with an implant-supported fixed bridge (the upper left three front teeth) and a single crown for the discoloured tooth (the upper right front tooth).

We take the utmost responsibility to minimize the transmission of any microorganisms by staying up to date with current infection control standards and practices.

We just completed our Semi Annual IPAC review with Linda McLarty from Germiphene to ensure a safe environment for all our patients.

Dr. Baig had the honor to be a guest speaker at the Seventh District Dental Society (7DDS) Semi-Annual Meeting in Upstate New York!

This session covered Dental Implant restoration and the prevention of common pitfalls such as poor planning, inadequate lab communications, after-market parts etc.

It was a great turn-out and a privilege to help our fellow colleagues with Implantology during this full-day event that included both breakfast and lunch!
