Why hello!

Its been a little bit since I shared an image of myself over here! For those of you that are new here, I am Carling!

I have always had a keen interest in photography, from a young age I would purchase disposable cameras and film using allowance money. When i finished a roll I would rollerblade up to the local shoppers drug mart to have it developed! How far photography has come-- the one thing that has stayed true is my deep feeling that photos are our link to the past.

I have never regretted spending money on the photos I have of my own family; I know how much things change from day-to-day and year-to year, encapsulating imagery of my own children at every age is one of the greatest gifts i have given myself and it is the reason I do what I do.

A beauty evening with a beauty family! ♥️♥️

It’s been a packed month and a half, I am so back logged on editing but feeling so grateful for this season I am in!!
Thank you to families like this one who have trusted me to capture them just as they are, it is truly such an honor!
