We are super excited to share our official Zouk Gym dates for the next several months! We’ll be dancing every 2 weeks, and each month will have a fun themed event:

We’ve got some exciting news and a little update! We’re moving Zouk Gym to Tuesdays. 🎉

What is Zouk Gym? It’s a weekly Zouk training and practice space where we can:
•⁠ ⁠Revise and master old moves.
•⁠ Try out new moves from conferences and online.
•⁠ Strengthen areas where we feel less confident.
•⁠ Enjoy social dancing and have fun together!

🗓 When: Every Tuesday from 19:00 to 21:30
📍 Where: Petersplatz, Basel

19:00 - 20:15: Zouk Practice
⁠20:15 - 21:30: Social Dancing

Crash course from 20:00 to 21:00
We will explore each time different concepts such as zouk technic, musicality, partner connection, styling, creativity in the dance, and much more. The course suits all levels, especially newcomers

From 21:00, the dancefloor will be open for all zouk styles, from the most traditional to the most creative and improvised. Freestyle allowed!

Next Wednesday we have our first Quickstarter!!!

In 2 hours we will dive into the fundamentals of Brazilian Zouk and feel the flow of this amazing couple dance.

Choreo videoproject ist is a six-month project for every person who loves to dance the Brazilian zouk, regardless of the level. The group is amateur full of passionate dancers. For half a year, we develop the dance predispositions of each person and improve the dance technique. Karolina invites special guests to the project who train our group at particular levels. At the end of the project, we film the whole thing against the background of the alps and create a video clip from it as a souvenir for us and inspire others.
