Friday - Sunday 26-28 April: PERSONANZ conference of Crescendo Germany: A firework of excellent speeches, a well-attended lecture in the Leipzig City Library with Martin Schleske (violin maker and author of Christian bestsellers), "workshops" on various prayer practices, discussions in World Café style, lots of music and a heartwaming service on Sunday morning in a Lutheran church. And the change in leadership of Crescendo Germany from Max to Franz and a warm welcome to Martin Böngeler, who is new to the team.
(And a pre-conference with church musicians and an very good lecture of an emerited Lutheran pastor)

We have just returned from an extraordinary weekend with about 40 Crescendo leaders and key staff from Europe, North and South America and (via Zoom) from Africa and Asia. The venue was Malmö, Sweden. We met at Hyllie Park Church and in the beautiful home of artists Eva and Janeric Johansson. We talked a lot about our Crescendo experiences and goals. It was very encouraging. We took new steps in planning for 2024 and beyond. We had wonderful musical contributions from classical and jazz. We prayed and praised God together. The warm fellowship was just wonderful. And finally, we were invited by the congregation to do a "Creative Church" service on Sunday morning. We are grateful and could list many names here to give thanks. Instead, here are a few pictures.
