ISfTeH Student Research Contest and Award 2024 (Award Session)

The ISfTeH Student Research Contest and Award 2024 was scheduled over two sessions earlier this year, in which ISfTeH student members presented their work in the field of telemedicine and digital health.

The presentations were assessed by a jury of ISfTeH members.

Last week, on Friday October 25th (11:00am GMT), the students provided a brief overview of their work and the winners of this year's ISfTeH Student Research Contest and Award (sponsored by Medgate) were announced.

Here are the ISfTeH students members and the winners!

The winners are:
Gold medal - Yann Lucas Dihl
Silver medal - Lucas Barroso dos Santos
Bronze medal - Taiza dos Santos Azevedo

WHO Digital Health Interventions (DHIs): Core Requirements Framework

Led by the Digital Health and Innovation Department at WHO Headquarters, this project aims to develop minimum requirements and specifications applicable to the development of digital health technologies. It aligns with the SMART Guidelines concept of developing Digital Adaptation Kits (DAKs), utilizing DHIs from the WHO Classification of Digital Interventions, Services and Applications in Health (CDISAH) to outline a set of core requirements that can streamline requirements gathering.

Webinar aim:
The aim of the webinar is to introduce the first iteration of the DHI core requirements framework and the draft assessment framework for digital health solutions.
