Spring has finally sprung! That means colour and lightweight jackets. This is basted fitting for a client who wanted something special for the upcoming season. As the only bespoke British tailor in Switzerland, you can tailor jackets and trousers from fantastic British fabrics.

The power of . We are big fans of green blazers as they work perfectly with chinos and jeans alike. Blue blazers may be the classic but then they only really work with greys and beiges. If you want to pair them with blue trousers, you run the risk of being a little "too blue". But with green, your blazer will pretty much go with anything.

A sign of a well tailored jacket with a check design is to seer if the checks match up across the collar and back as well as with the shoulder and sleeves. It's a small detail that shows the tailor has spent the time and focus to match up the fabrics when cutting your jacket by hand.

People will spend hundreds or maybe even thousands on a pair of shoes but then not invest in their socks. That’s something that has always baffled us. As the socks are against your skin, surely you would select a pair made from high quality cotton and in the same size as your foot as opposed to a pair that can fit 6 different shoe sizes. With , we offer socks in half sizes so that you are getting the perfect fit. The quality of the cotton or even cashmere is second to none.

We do more than just bespoke suits. As dress casual is becoming more acceptable we now offer tailored bomber jackets and trousers with elastic waistbands for that extreme comfort. There are a number of colours and options to select from.

Wedding season is around the corner and now is the time to set the dress code. Black tie? Suits? Morning coats? As groom or a member of the wedding party it is important that you dress your best and invest the time in a well fitting garment. Remember we need at least 6 weeks from start to finish!

January is over! As the days get lighter and hopefully the temperature gets warmer, it is time to start planning for brighter and bolder colours. A well cut pair of chinos is invaluable and can transition from smart casual to casual in an instant.

Our stores in Switzerland reopen this week and we have a number of deliveries ready to go including this lovely Cashmere/wool double breasted coat. When tailoring a coat, length and pocket position are key factors as each coat is expected to last at least a decade.

It was a pleasure to tailor this bespoke suit for their big day. It may have been a September wedding, but the location was southern Spain so temperatures were still high. We decided on a lightweight wool/linen mix from Holland & Sherry to create a relaxed look, but something that would not wrinkle. Congrats again!

Aromas of aniseed, white truffle, raspberries and fresh plums. Full-bodied yet reined in and nicely framed with fine tannins. Starting to show some aged, developed flavors. First year of this. Made from the vineyards of Scarrone and Fiasco. 5,000 bottles made. Vegan. Drinkable but better with three or four years of bottle age. Try after 2026 but will drink beautifully with a few hours of decanting.

Last night the team at Mirpuri Bespoke reached another milestone with one of our own bespoke pieces making it's debut on the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury for Sir Elton John's final UK performance!
Gabriel's singer joined Sir Elton as his first guest during his set, dressed in a bespoke shocking pink morning suit and shirt created from fabric made by Scabal in their Capri Cool Wool Collection. Matched with a military orange stripe down the side of the trousers and orange bemberg lining, this one of a kind piece was designed by Sir Elton's personal stylist Jo Hambro.

Party season is almost here and people are dressing up! We completed this fantastic red velvet smoking jacket for a client for a evening celebration.

Getting that winter weekend vibe with a Cashmerello tailored shirt and a corduroy jacket.

Cashmerello is a cashmere/cotton fabric woven by in Switzerland. The result is a luxuriously soft and warm shirt that has a brushed finished. Combine that with a corduroy jacket for the perfect look.

Whether you call it a jumper (UK) or a sweater (USA) or even a pullover (??), the important thing is that It fits well and feels fantastic.
Hand-knitted in Italy from Loro Piana Cashmere, we are pleased to introduce our range of made to measure jumpers. There are a number of different styles to select from ranging from the classic crew neck to the shawl lapel cardigan as well as a cashmere hoodie. And yes, we can add elbow patches!

We have a fantastic range of colours available and you can select whether you would like your jumper ribbed and although they are usually woven from 2 ply cashmere, you have the option to go heavier if that is what you are after. Delivery is in as little as 2 weeks. Prices start from CHF398.

Tailoring knitwear is slightly different to tailoring a jacket or shirt. Whilst we do have your measurements and fit on file, its best to arrange a consultation to make sure that we get the details and sizing the way you like it. It's also an opportunity to decide which weight would serve you best.

It's always warm somewhere! Its not unusual for us to be working with a summer weight fabric at the beginning of October, because it's always warm somewhere!

This particular suit is being tailored for a client getting married in Los Angeles in November and he wanted something light for his beach wedding. The suit is now ready for his bespoke fitting.

People always ask what is the difference between bespoke and made to measure - we think this photo helps visualise the difference. With made to measure the first time you see your suit, it's already pretty much finished as it's being created off an existing pattern. With bespoke suits, at your fitting you still have the ability to change things like button position, lapel width, pocket position etc, as the suit is no where finished. You have greater flexibility is determining every aspect of your suit.

As dress codes in the office become more casual, an autumn sports coat will be your go-to piece for the upcoming season. It can be dressed up or down and goes with jeans, chinos and even flannels.

As the temperatures are cooler, there is a wider selection of different fabrics to choose from. Materials like tweed, wool, corduroy and twill can help take your sartorial chops to the next level, while adding character and creating focal points within any given outfit.
