The HIH Kfar Saba community joined together for a winter celebration that they called "the Path of Light."

There were crafts and a concert, but the real lasting moment of the evening was the community singing together.

We always choose the path of light. And in these dark days, it shines even brighter.

This week we took the 7th and 8th graders out to the arcade, because they (and all children) should be busy having fun. And as the parents watch their kids laughing and running around together, they can't help but note how ordinary this scene appears but how special it really it.

Hommage - tribute to this wonderful person Amit

Quando Hamas ha iniziato a infiltrarsi nel Kibbutz Be'eri, al paramedico Amit Mann, 22 anni, è stato offerta la possibilità di scappare. Ma Amit, impegnata a salvare le persone, ha preso il suo kit di pronto soccorso ed è corsa alla clinica locale per aiutare i feriti.

Dopo ore di assistenza ai feriti, ha scritto alla sua famiglia: "I terroristi sono tornati, non credo che sopravviveremo... pregate per noi, siate forti se mi succede qualcosa".

È anche riuscita a dire a sua madre: "Mamma, ti voglio bene. Pensate solo cose belle su di me".

Il suo corpo è stato ritrovato due giorni dopo. È stata uccisa da Hamas. Prima le hanno sparato a una gamba, perché non potesse muoversi, e poi è seguita un'esecuzione a sangue freddo.

Il coraggio e l'eroismo di Amit sono un esempio per tutti. Un angelo che ha pagato con la propria vita, per aiutare gli altri.
